If we really wanted to dystory the west, or take over the world.

What has stopped us in the past and what is stopping us now?

I think that should be proof enough that islam didn't ask us to do that.

I mean that idea sound more like solid snake form that cartoon show J.I.Joe.

The samething was said about the russians during the cold war and it turned out to be a load of crap.

Please don't quote me verses you don't understand from the quran to try and sound smart.

I'm asking this in all seriousness because as I watch tv and movies in this culture, I see no accurate representation of the God that I know nor of Christians I know. It seems to me that people have a strange idea of what Christianity is and they reject it, but that idea they have is so far off base according to what the Bible actually says and teaches. So, if you are not a Christian, not raised in a church, where do you get your information about what it means to be a Christian?? Do you think that what movies show is the truth?? Do you think that your impression of it is right?? Do you yourself belong to a group that is wrongly portrayed in movies?

Growing up? i remember there was some story about him hunting a bird with a stone then felt bad and brought it back to life. Did he sin as a little child. Do we have any stories of his childhood?

I'm already Catholic and I don't want to be. Is it possible to convert if I want to be another religion or is it possible to "undo" the baptism so I'm no longer Catholic or any religon preference? What can I do about it?

We are like the only Jewish family on our street. I'm sure that everyone is jealous of our success in business. But we had nothing to do with the man known as Jesus dying...that was before we were born...and he was just a man nothing more. What can we do to assure the people in the neighborhood that we mean them no harm (but at the same time we really don't want to hang out with them...they are low caste)

Non-Believer: "Why doesn't your God feed the homeless?"
Believer: "You should be asking, what am I doing to feed the homeless?"

So what are WE doing. It looks like not enough. There are enough resources in this world to feed, clothe and provide adequate shelter to every human being and then some. Yet in most countries 1% of the population control 90% of the wealth.

On a smaller level I see people in $600 suits pass homeless people everyday without even acknowledging their existance. I do it too, but I try to give everytime I'm asked, if I have no money on me, then I at least apologize for not being able to help my fellow brother or sister.

Truthfully I don't have much in this world when it comes to wealth, though I have been lucky enough to have a great life. One thing I will always have plenty of is my word, so if you're reading this and you are in a better position than me I urge you to help someone near or far, and urge someone else to as well.

This idea just hit me--while Abraham was busy creating God in his own image, did he decide that people were created as kind of pets for God, since humans domesticated different types of animals for different purposes? What do you think?

A 13 year old girl in my school was in a car crash recently. Her aunt and friend were killed and her dad is badly hurt. She was in a coma and she just woke up but she's still got a long way to go as she has severe head injuries. Please pray for her to help her get better. We're all very worried. Thankyou

I mean, all those disused Churches,Vicarages,Land, Gold Plates, Goblets, Stocks & Shares.
Not to mention the new steeple funds!,
There are plenty of homeless and poor and those with ill health who could be helped in God's name.

...if you look at a watch that has many flaws, malfunctions occasionally, has extra pieces and an overall crappy design, doesn't that mean the watchmaker was a poor designer, and poorly educated in the making of good quality watches, especially if all his watches came out at about the same quality?

Would you expect people to go to that watchmaker for more watches, or stop by and do things he tells them to do and give him gifts because of the phenomenal work he did on his watches?
