I think that should be proof enough that islam didn't ask us to do that.
I mean that idea sound more like solid snake form that cartoon show J.I.Joe.
The samething was said about the russians during the cold war and it turned out to be a load of crap.

I would happen to thoroughly answer your question, but what are you really asking? It is true that Islam does not advocate violence, in fact the only time a violence is even consider (in true Islam) is during times of self defense. Thus, it would be impossible for Muslims to have any goal that is akin to "destroying" the west. If any thing Islam would attempt to uplift the west through pure thought, reason, and action of peace. However, this can be said of almost any religion when it is practiced CORRECTLY. I mean if the scriptures and teachings of Christianity and Judaism were never distorted then Islam would not even exist. I sincerely hope this answers your question, and may peace be with you.

well, actually, Islam doesn't teach that we should take over the world. the verses that said like kill them and stuff were talking about history and the battles that took place, and teaching history, just like they do in school. They are there so that we can keep the history of the religion with us. but they never said that we should do that in this day and age. some crazy extremists, however, try to manipulate it to say whatever they want, which is wrong.

How dare we notice the constant destruction of other cultures that come under the control of Islam!
How dare we see how many nations have had swelling numbers of Islamic immigrants, only to have them voted into office, and then have the nation "voted" into being an Islamic state!
How dare we believe you when you say that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world.
How dare we pay attention to the number of wars in which Islam is the aggressor almost every time.
How dare we quote verses from your own holy texts (which I have read, having come from a formally Islamic family).

Muslims do not want to destroy the west but they are just angry with the policies of the western nations who are always supporting Israel and they have no respect for the Muslim religion, those ignorant of this knowledge are targeted to make their point heard.It is also known as policing the world.

I am a western have been all my life, i am also a Muslim.

we dont wanna take over the world. never in history we ever killed to take over a country in the name of religion. islam was never spread by the sword, but mainly by merchandisers.
and yes answering to someones question, we do beleive the whole of earth is allah's land, because allah just means god. and god is a creator, and if he is the creator, then he created earth and it belongs to him. we beleive in the same god as jesus did. it belongs to god, and god never said kill people to take over their land. mind u, palestine is a different story, when muslims fight, theyre liberating their lands, defence and not offence.
