You can leave the church. No one stops you. You cannot "undo" you baptism though...
But you do not have to believe in God, you can turn from him and be a "nothing." No one stops you.
I think if you want to officially withdraw from the Church you need to write a letter to you bishop. You can ask a local parish priest about this.
Sorry to see that you've lost your faith though. Nothing sadder in the world.

If you are a Christian, catholic or not, you are free to go to any christian church you want. There are no biblical requirements. My catholic friend now attends Baptist church because that's where she learns more about the bible. She didn't have to do anything. Where you baptized as an adult? That stays with you if you accepted Jesus at the same time. You'll always be saved. If it was infant batpism, it doesn't count anyway. Infants go to heaven either way. Baptism, biblically, is a way to show your acceptance of the Lord and your salvation, to others.

I was raised as Catholic, and had 12 years of formal religious education. I was taught that any person who followed their conscience had as good a shot at union with God as anyone else. Catholics would not consider your thoughtful choice of a different way to be a significant loss to them or harm to you. Do not worry another minute about this. You are compelled to follow your own conscience. Your path is sacred.
I too no longer identify with that religion, but I will always be grateful for the very thoughtful and respectful way I was raised.

I grew up Catholic, and now I'm not. There's no ceramony, nowhere to sign...Catholicism is a group of people with similar beliefs. I don't have those beliefs anymore, so Im no longer Catholic.
PS: My aunt tried to tell me I was still Catholic too, I'm just not a practicing Catholic. Not true...religion requires beliefs.

If you want your original sin back, then sorry, it has already been removed by the priest. But your sin past the age of reason is your own if you're among the unregenerate, and don't worry, you stand just as guilty before God as before your baptism ceremony as an infant.

whats up, to respond to your question, i assume it truly is attainable. i'm undecided of the regulations surrounding renouncing the Roman Catholic faith, yet I could think of there could be freedom of determination for each man or woman while it includes faith. With that stated, nonetheless, on an identical time as that's large to pay attention somebody who could desire to connect us lower back, I could desire to proportion that my own philosophy regarding the point of fixing into Islam should not be for convenience. I comprehend your frustration, yet i think of think ofyou've have been given your motives for conversion a splash blended up. you have been uncovered to hypocritical Christian black men; that would not unavoidably mean that Islam is freed from people of such characters. it isn't the religion, however the guy. earlier you desire to transform for a guy, how approximately you examine some components on line as properly as get them from a interior sight Muslim enterprise around you (e.g. a Mosque) so as which you would be able to instruct your self approximately Islam first? Islam is extra desirable than in common terms a faith- that's a existence-form, and an popularity and submission of the self to in common terms one authentic God, Allah S.W.T, and accepting that Muhammad is his messenger. not in common terms that, Islam encompasses many factors of living you may desire to be arranged to sacrifice for. in line with probability that's truly useful to start with wikipedia for the fundamentals on the Islamic faith first. could peace be with you and Insyallah, you would be guided onto the suited direction. Take care!
