If more Muslims would publicly condemn the actions of terrorists and extremists, wouldn't they face less discrimination and stigma from the rest of the world? You would think all peace loving people would throw in together against all the violence out there. But from their silence, it appears that otherwise peaceful Muslims would rather be loyal to the violent extremists than to other peace loving peoples.

Anyone have any good ideas on the cause of this phenomenon?

Thanks, and if you think this is a good question, star me!

Who the heck is Ted Haggard? Obviously he's some kind of celebrity religious figure, that much I can tell, but I don't watch much TV. I guess I'm pop-culture illiterate. But his name keeps popping up, usually used as a bludgeon against Christians by atheists, and since I don't even know who he is, it doesn't have much effect on me. So let me in on it, please. And tell me why I should care who he is.

I don't want to sin... Is that even sinning? I like to read my horoscope every once and a while, and I find the zodiac quite interesting. I'm lutheran and very religous- even though I'm only in fifth grade. You probably don't believe me. Please tell me, am I sinning?

Ok i was thinking about this the other day..and found it rather interesting...so catholics (p.s. im a catholic..just a lil detail b4 i start getting into things) beleive in adam and Eve..the first people on earth...but then we have the scientific theories of Evolution which are very much supported by evidence and bones...soo isnt it quite contradictory? like i beleive in the story of adam and eve...but yet i also beleive in evolution..so how does that work...let me here what you think on the matter.

SERIOUSLY! what is up with this. i am a practicing wiccan and i have nothing to do with satan. the spells i cast have absoluty nothing to do with satan. infact, the main rule of what i practice is if it hurts anyone or anything DONT DO IT! i know other wiccans have this same question, and most of it can be chalked up to just a general lack of knowlege on the part of non wiccans but honestly....what is so satanic about a religion that in all the books and stuff i have ever read on the subject never once mention satan except to say that people who do use wiccan for satanic purposes are using wicca for the wrong reasons?

People prefer more secular(worldly) viewpoints and when you mention God and you aren't particulary pious or devout in your beliefs, it brings a big debate.

Do Jewish people believe that Jesus died for their sins and for a way back to God or do they think that Jesus was just a prophet and the Jewish are still looking for their Savior to come save them? Thanks for any information.

I answered a Muslims question the other day that was clearly trying to encourage Christians to at least think a little more about how Islam is similar to Christianity. I answered in a derogatory fashion and criticized their attempts to convert Christians to Islam and because I happened to mentioned the key words; Christians, convert, and Islam, I now have this **** sending me links to Islamic web pages and giving me that “peace be upon you” crapola. Anyone else experience this?

I was at the cemetary today on Maui taking some pictures off a bluff and noticed the Jewish section of the cemetary seemed to be separated from the rest of the cemetary by markers and a chain. It got me to thinking about other cemetaries i had been in and how i had seen the same thing. Just curious why?

Since Satan knows scripture he knows the Christ is coming for his church prior to the 7 year tribulation period. I believe then that Satan must have the anti-christ picked out at all times, if the individual dies, then he moves on to another soulless man.

I heard somewhere that Mormons had to wear "holy underwear." I also heard that there are certain things that you can and can't do with it and you are not allowed to take it off. Is this true?

is that mocking?[I know many say how could a Pope mock] but is Pope really Biblical? prove it to me, Peter the Apostle was an Apostle and not a Pope and Jesus said "upon this rock I will build my church",well the rock, hmm well peter was called rock maybe because his hard rock faith in Christ like no other Apostle, so upon faith like Peter had Christ will build his Church and not a Physical Vatican building and other basilica buildings etc,...anyways Peter had a wife if your read the Bible you'd read that Jesus and Peter went to his spouses mom's house to heal her from sickness, THE POPE HAS NO WIFE.

It's already been proven that the membrane waves in the 11th dimension created the universe and the infinite parallel universes with it (our universe is a bubble in the ocean that is the multiverse)

Yet people still believe in higher beings and eternal paradise.

Look at it this way, swap God for "Dave"

My invisible friend Dave created the universe in 6 days, he's in the room right now. In fact he's everywhere, watching us. Dave loves you.
