whats up with people thinking wiccan has ANYTHING to do with satan?

SERIOUSLY! what is up with this. i am a practicing wiccan and i have nothing to do with satan. the spells i cast have absoluty nothing to do with satan. infact, the main rule of what i practice is if it hurts anyone or anything DONT DO IT! i know other wiccans have this same question, and most of it can be chalked up to just a general lack of knowlege on the part of non wiccans but honestly....what is so satanic about a religion that in all the books and stuff i have ever read on the subject never once mention satan except to say that people who do use wiccan for satanic purposes are using wicca for the wrong reasons?

for those of you who dont know, spell work is the wiccan form of prayers. example, if i need a little extra luck on a test, i light a candle that corrisponds to luck, and say a few words to ask for luck. and before you ask why i just dont pray, it helps me focus to have a physical act to go with my words.

im not practicing harry potter stuff, im not out to turn my ex into a toad, or bewitch something to fly across the room. its nothing like that.

if i really cared about nature i would accept jesus.....why would i accept a religion that discourages anything other than what it says is right and true, rather than a religion that doesnt hate on anyones religion?

Satan the Devil means Rebel the Liar. One of his great deceptions is that he does not exist. Whether you consciously seek Satan out to follow him or not doesn't indicate whether you serve him or not, for his purpose is to destroy any possible relationship with our Creator, the simplest definition in English of Jehovah. Satan would rather rule you I suppose, but he would ruin you any way that he can, including ignorance. (ignorance meaning lack of knowledge, not lack of ability to know) Rule or ruin. Either way he ruins any possible relationship with Jehovah, and either way he is ruling you, also. A major way that Satan uses to ruin any possible relationship one might attain with Jehovah is to prevent such one's believing in the existence of God or by preventing his gaining knowledge of Jehovah.
That is why Jesus commanded all his followers to go out door to door and preach the good news that Jesus is King!
