then try this link on carbon dating and share your thoughts. I found it to be an intelligent review of carbon dating. I find I am confronted frequently with trying to explain how I can believe in Creation and science. I believe God created everything. I believe logic is a tool He gave man so we would be even more amazed when we began studying His creation. How do other Christians who also believe in God and science resolve this? I find I frequently feel alone, rejected by both creationist and evolutionist and wonder how others have handled this.

Placing creationism at the center of the debate makes it appear that, in order to be a Christian, you have to abandon your brain. The extraordinary forcefulness of the arguments put forward seem to spring from a place of insecurity and fear.

Why would Christians create such controversy trying to trash evolution when the only thing that does is make Christianity seem just as authoritarian and tyrannical as the Nazis or the Taliban?

During the Salem Witch trials supposed ‘witches were put on trial and either burned alive or sent to prison. Being that it is more recent science can look at the history of this and find out what really happened.
The witches were just drugged out hippies on mushrooms and other psychedelic drugs. They themselves thought they were witches and would go to crazy orgy parties and get loaded.
The Puritans had lousy food storage and some of their food was tainted with a mold that caused hallucinations. So when they started trippin’ they thought the witches had put a spell on them. When their children died from poison in the mold they thought the crazy hippies had killed them with their evil power. So they burned the hippies at the stake.
This was just 400 years ago. If this had happened in the Old Testament times then it would have been a bible story. Some would even say that the witches were real back then and God had punished them. If this was the belief of religious extremists just 400 years ago, what kind of ideas do you think they had about the world over 3,000 years ago?

If GOD is all knowing, all powerful, and knowing the future, why was Satan, a creation of GOD, able to disrupt the plan of the earthly paradise so easily in the Garden of Edan?
It MUST have been part of the plan because purfection makes no mistakes.

More and more in America, it is becoming obvious they aren't the same things. Religion, so obsessed with smoke, mirrors and conniption fits, can't seem to identify a moral act if it gets clubbed in the face with it. Meanwhile, spiritual people accomplish divine work independently.

Mine is knowing I will have to answer to the iniquities placed upon me even if they are not my own. Knowing that others can have control of your thoughts and beliefs and you will still have to answer for those iniquities. My religion says that a bearer of burdens shall not bear the burdens of another. So, I question at times what is really forgiveness. How can one appreciate a mercifull grace like such from GOD if there is nothing to be forgiven?

PEACE!
