Excellent observation. Not only that, but there are usually more thumbs down on the best answer among the lot, in my humble opinion.
I often come to a question and find the best answer is already there; but has nothing but bad answer hits. While I have not taken notes, I believe there is a good possibility that there is a team, of at least four persons, busy downing certain answers on a regular basis.
It may not be non-Christians! It may be a very subtle form of spam by highly indoctrinated people representing a certain church religious view.
I may start marking these posts and take a closer look to see what doctrines there answers support; and try to generate some more specific questions.
So I totally agree with what you have noticed. Now the question, to my mind, is just what aspect or idea about God don't they like? They do not seem to mark all questions that support God, just the most direct answer...
It takes a lot of devil and/or a lot of religious instruction, of a certain persuasion, to be that consistent. Thanks for forming a question that was hanging unformed in my own spirit.

people have the right to their own opinions, they say you should never discuss politics or religion because it causes arguments, myself I'm a Christian, but respect other peoples beliefs, just as I would like people to respect my beliefs.
I don't normally come onto this section for the reasons I have put above, but today, this is the second religious question I have answered, if I get a thumbs down, so be it, a thumbs up, then so be it,.
To me there is only one true judge.

I give thumbs up to all honest and interesting answers and rarely give thumbs down unless the answer is truly insulting.
A lot of Christians give automatic thumbs down too. I get one on every answer I give no matter how respectful.

First off, I'd give this question a thumbs down, just for bad grammar ;)
Second, I only give thumbs down to negative, ignorant, or off topic answers.
Third, I agree with the pagan who answered above - I've been reported for asking an innocent pagan-related question; and I've had negative, ignorant answers to said questions, which I gladly gave thumbs down to :)

I got more thumbs down from Christians than anyone else just because I said I was a Pagan. Not to mention all the questions they reported.

Just because people choose to use logic doesn't mean that they don't believe in a god, just ask any unitarian. For you I perscribe Marilyn Manson.

Just ignore them, a thumbs up from God is much more important, and He actually matters!
