God has done everything he is supposed to do.....we are here to learn spiritually and love one another. The things we do to help the less fortunate is our way of using free will to love others. Don't take that away from us...it's a beautiful thing.

Well, God has done His part and is giving us opportunities to do ours. It was predicted that our selfishness, greed, etc. will hinder us and He will step in again to set things right.
The Scriptures teach us that in the future there will be no death and every man will have a "vine and fig tree"...which means no need for hospitals or the Salvation Army Thrift Store and plenty of food.

God isn't here to do everything for us. He works through people and sometimes intervenes directly using Angels and perhaps other spiritual beings. We are constantly surrounded by good and evil beings. Our temptations come from satanic devils who whisper tempting, seductive and destructive thoughts into our minds. It is our choice whether we do the right or wrong thing. To successfully live in this world we need God's help everyday which is why prayer is so important.
May God protect you.

What do you mean by "turned up and did the things he was suposed to do"? When the Lord comes back, it wil be the rapture and tribulation. i think later God wil rule on earth and everything will be perfect- no death, poverty, sickness, etc. Or are you talking about the antichrist?

God created a perfect world and gave us freedom to choose, sadly our choices fall short of keeping it perfect...i agree with Amethy above..
One day there will be no more tears no more death no more wars and we will be living with our creator in perfect harmony and bliss..so for now we must do our part with a happy heart. Shalom~~~

Yes, "IF" (HE won't) but if Jesus did come back for a visit, all of us would still need Doc's and Nurse's and hospital's etc..
Just how it is, cause were still Learning how to walk in faith.
Takes time.
Takes teachers.
Hope this helps.
Thank GOD for Doc.'s and those Pretty (all of them!) Little Nurses too!
Ditto...................

Jesus died so that _we_ would change our behaviour for the better. It is ourselves who need to 'turn up'.
'God commands all people everywhere to repent.'
