No.
Not only do more people believe in God than do not believe in God but it would be a violation of the basic human right of freedom of religion.
With love in Christ.

Why, does the Name God bother so many people? I see many things I do not like around me, but I do not go crying to the World to remove them.
I see many people as children these days, because they act like they are. why is it that so many people act as if the Government is our parents. and run crying to them every time they do not get their way.
What does this sound like to you? He said, this word. he should not say that word. punish them. Ohh' now you said a very bad word.
Come on people grow up! doesn't this sound funny or even strange to you? but that is how people these days or acting. like a bunch of spoiled brats. that always want their way.
and Should the word GOD, be Banned? NO when it ever comes down to the Government saying such a Stupid thing, is when all religions will band together to fight it. in doing so just may keep going to correct all of the other things that they have messed up over the years. think not? look back at the History about Religion.
People will do anything to keep their religion. even war if it has to be. and if the name God is band, is the same as saying religion is band.
Sorry, people. But if anything could make he angry, this does. NO, one will take my religion away, not even this Government.

I'm still not sure why something as personal as God needs to be in the public square, at least as far as government is concerned. The Separation of Church and State is one of the greatest ideas to come out of the founding fathers Liberal brains.
The irony is if you look at the writings of the era the religious leaders were those pushing hardest for a separation of church and state, and now it seems to have been reversed.
I'm not sure why some people believe that they should force their beliefs on all others. God does not require us to plaster him everywhere to get into his good graces, all he requires is belief in him, and the golden rule. People who wish to force God on the rest of us are violating that golden rule, otherwise they all need to start praying to Cathulu, for he should be on our currency.

No, I don't think it should be banned. I just want them to use it appropriately. For example, there's no need for it to be on government currency. Think of it like this, if atheists were the majority, and we had little messages plastered all over things, you would be annoyed. Believers wouldn't feel it was appropriate for a message to be on money like, "No God to Trust", would they? Even though atheists were the majority, you would wonder why they NEED to put something like that on there. What does it have to do with government currency? It doesn't NEED to be there, and it's just another little something that's being pushed in your face. That's how we feel. Nobody is trying to completely take away someone's right to talk about God, or use the name of God in appropriate circumstances.

you can try to remove the word God from everything, or just federal and school etc, but let me tell you- the schools, the world the federal and all the earth will pass away, but the Word of the Lord will never pass away. Remove the word does not remove GOD!!!! He is still there- let us who claim Jesus as Lord stand up for Him!!

Your assumption that "people" perfer more secular words is just incorrect. 95% of people believe in a diety, whatever it may be. Secularists nned to trivalize God and religion so as to promote a very liberal do what your want attitude. God and morality get in the way. You can't air brush history, this country was inhabited by people looking to worship how they wanted and not the Church of England. The ten commandemnts were a model for the Constitution and our founding fathers invoked God often in thei writings.

No Actually i think He should be all up in EVERYTHING. YEAH that's just like humans we are so lustful that we would accept everything that's pleasing to our flesh and reject the things that are beneficial to our spirit. Am saying this because Am going through it now but at least i know i need my soul to benefit more than anything else and Am working toward that.

Christians are sure of God through faith lived out into adult spiritual growth. Atheists can't prove anything against God but to through doubts at everything as some sort of proof. I feel sorry for the people that do not have Fact in their life that God is real and he loves you. He wants all to call on his name to beat satan in claiming their soul.

Why? what is it about the word God that brings fear?
It isn't being perfect with God that will draw people to you to know more about God, it is being imperfect & the fact that being imperfect that God still Loves & wants You!

I'm an atheist. The word God doesn't bother me, unless the person is using it to justify forcing their beliefs down my throat, through force of law or poor manners.
Usually when god is used in the context of within government, then usually someone is trying to do just that.
