Been struggling lately with relationship issues and drowning in the "poor me" attitude. A past co-worker just phoned. Her troubles are so enormous I couldn't imagine being in her shoes. It makes my "stuff" seem so trivial in comparison. Sure does make you put things in perspective.

from me on behalf of all these people that just won't leave you alone? I would never mock you for not believing, so please don't mock me for believing. But the next Christian that trys to belittle you, why not say you'll pray for them that they'll become an atheist. Do you think that will shut them the f*** up?

A friend of mine was telling me a story about a guy who supposedly was walking through Vatican and went into some kind of trance and started speaking in Latin. Some priests overheard him and understood him and what he was doing was naming all the popes prior to his time, and then he proceeded on and named all of the popes through the coming ages. He was giving both their names and nicknames (like Pope John Paul II, the Traveling Pope). Anyway, he apparently named Benedict and then said "the end" in Latin. Of course I can't find anything on this on the Internet. Does anyone know if this story is true, and if so, where can I read more about it?

After submitting yourself to Christ, your only purpose is to tell the World who He is.

Yet, many of you agree with non-believers that we shouldn't even do this... that we shouldn't tell people the repucussions of sin... that we shouldn't lead the "lost"...

Noone said we had to be forceful or to judge, but we have been instructed to be disciples for Christ... so that "him that has an ear to ear will hear."

Why do we give in so much, so that we won't be talked about... why do we want to fit in so much?

This applies to some not all Christians.

What are your thoughts?

I wonder why under the same education some become atheists and others become religious people?

Whenever I see the atheists" scornful attitude toward religion,

I always ask how they came to be so confident?

Do they really think religious people are nuts?

I know there are so many great intellectuals who is religious , some are christians, muslims , and buddists.

I have no religion , but I am the person who cant deny the existence of something superb without any doubt.

I want know how the atheists can be so confident in denying something superb.

they believe in Nature's power. Native Indians may worship the moon, for example. They believe that storm means God (or a superior Force) is angry at them. They follow the Moon phases to plant, fish, marry and give birth. They respet and fear Nature as something superior.

African tribes native believe that nature has a spirit. They worship the spirit/entity of forest, of the river, of the moutains.

Those people are considered pagan by Catholicism, but they only believe in what they see.

Other ancient people used to believe in the possibility or re-uniting ancestors after death (parts of Asia and Egypt).

My question: why do you think those people chose to believe in something, if religion per say were never taught to them, actually they dont even have a notion of religion? Would you say that Faith is inherent in Human Beings?

Dont tell me they are dellisioned, cause I dont buy that. Those cultures deserve our respect for the wisdom they bring with them.

ive gotten a few people saying that im going to hell. that makes me sad. so i was thinking of starting a jesus summa camp to try and get back in the dudes favor.

There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed (narrated by both Moslim and Bokhary) where he told his companions about a JINNI who tried to distract him while he was praying, but prophet Muhammed caught him (or it) and thought to tie him (it) to a pillar to show him (it) to his companions and then he changed his mind and let the JINNI free.

Is it possible to fight a JINNI and tie him (it)?

Anyway the dream seemed very real, do you think some of the people who said they saw Jesus after his death had similar dreams but thought it really was real, maybe they interpreted dreams differently then we do today just as they did most other things it seems.
