HI
In Mathew 24:14 the gospel is suppose to be preached as a witness and the end will come, do you really want the door to door ministry to stop? Only God can say when all people know about it so no our obligation isn't filled and when it is the end will come.

There is a balance that many Christians have not been able to obtain.
We are called not only to plant the seed, that is share the gospel, but also water the seed, and cultivate the ground. Meaning that we need to take varied and careful approaches to sharing our faith. It is not a one time deal. However, there does come a point when after you have done your part you back away and you let God do his work and you allow the person to make his or her decision. Christians, as myself, need to understand that people have the freedom of choice and we can not nor should we even attempt to MAKE somenone accept the gospel.
However, we MUST always be Jesus to people and to love them and serve them and be kind to them. Unfortunately there are some who say they are "spreading the word" yet aren't even doing this! What a shame!

The gospel message is constructed so it will be received best by the humble .. which explains why it is having such a hard time in the US and UK now. Easy, comfortable, rich people, with high self-regard - them having to admit to being a sinner is a bit humiliating. The gate to life will remain the gate to life though, whatever religions and philosophies men turn to.
Everyone can shun their place at the Feast of Christ. But God will keep looking for guests who don't turn down the offer.

Hi Journey,
I will not preach at you. I do attempt to fulfill my obligation to Christ as HE told each of us to in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20). I am sorry that so many of us have attempted to "convert you" on this site. Please take this as my apology. You have a beautiful name. Have a great day!
Thanks,
Eds, Non-Denominational Christian

You certainly have the right to dismiss us or ignore us. However, there are others with every bit as much right to listen and want to know more.
Our Lord has commanded us to reach out to everyone. If you hear and choose to ignore, that will be between you and Him. Just tell us you are not interested and we will move on.
Every day more children are growing to an age where they can understand the nature of sin, their guilt and appreciate the price it will bestow upon them. It is our duty to Christ to give them the good news, the Gospel, that He died for them and is willing to pardon their transgressions if they will but follow Him.
It is to these people who we reach out to. You do not have to listen if you don't want to.

Wrong ... you need it more now. But I serious doubt that everybody has heard a clear presentation of Gospel. I would love to knock on your door and give you the gospel and I will pray that someone does

Lots have heard few really understand the message. Looking at some of the questions and replies I know this is true.

I talk about the gospel because I love the Lord. I do not force it on anyone, but if someone wants to hear I share. I will aways talk about God everyday of my life because he is my life God bless you.

iEveryone knowing the gospel, having the opportunity to accept or not is the point.
But if you think EVERYONE in America has heard it, your mistaken. I live in a town, surrounded by Indian Reservation, and I gaurantee, not everyone has heard it.

Romans 10:13-15
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
