God is loving, caring God.He is fear on his dealings with His creatures on earth.
If you seriously ask God to help you, He is always their to respond to your needs as long as you know him and love him as he love you so much.

By following the principles and guidelines he set for us in the Bible I am in a happy marriage have a job where I can be trusted and respected have no diseases from sleeping around have a good relationship with my family and friends who will never influence me to do the wrong thing. I also have purpose in my life and a goal to become a better person. A wonderful hope for the future. Granted everyone has problems and it's not always hunky dory. But if you know that you are trying to do the right thing and you have some one that is always looking out for your best interest. Then you are going to have a good conscience....and a good nights sleep.

I know how you feel, P. Whenever I am convinced that I'm beyond help with problems, I just read the newspaper or watch the news or perhaps I have a friend/relative who is very ill, lost their job, bad car accident, etc. and it certainly makes me re-think my situation. God has taught me to help those in need even if it's just a donation of clothing, food, etc.
I am always amazed how good it makes me feel and the strength it gives me to keep on going no matter what!! : )
I don't think anyone's troubles are trivial be they large or small.

Wow. God has done so much for me, where do I begin? I used to drink like a fish, cuss like a sailor, and my attitude toward the general population was a negative one. Since confessing my sins to God, asking forgiveness, and receiving Jesus Christ into my life, I no longer drink like I once did, cussing is kept to a minimum, and I have a new zest for life that I didn't have before. God tells us to love others as Christ has loved us. He was willing to die for my sins. The least I can do is live for Him. He has given me a great wife and a beautiful little girl. He has blessed me with a promising job in the glass business, blessed me with a talent for photography, placed my family into a spirit filled church, and is in the process of making my long time dream of owning a 1976 International Harvester Scout II like one my dad had when I was a kid come true. God is awesome! He can turn your life around too. Just have to lay your pride down long enough to sincerely ask forgiveness for all the wrong you've done-even if you consider yourself a "good person." God bless you.

HI,
I was told this story by my bible teacher she said that everyone has their own problems that may feel big but if you were told to write your problem down and put it in a hat and that everyone else in the world was suppose to also and that you would draw someone else's problem would that be better for you? I thought about it and couldn't answer, then she said what if you pulled out a problem where someone had MS, or was facing bankruptcy, or a husband beating you, could you handle it better than the one you have? My answer was no and she said it is because God knows how much we can bare and doesn't put more on us and he helps us bare our troubles if we let him.

When I wondered what it was like believing in G-d I thought it would be easier dealing with troubles because hey, that's what G-d wanted so who am I to complain. But that's not how it turned out. There are still things I don't like and things I don't understand. I ask G-d to help me find a way to deal with things, and sometimes I think of something I never could have thought of on my own. I also have "poor me" feelings but I remember it's not just me, it's an "us".

God gives us according to what we did in the past life. Yes, God is good, as good as parents that teach their children through time-outs, reward and consequences. We prepare our children to life, right? So does God, to our eternal life.
Your friend is certainly going through that stuff because she needs to learn something out of it. The same thing with this guy above me. If God took his mother and his friend, it is because it was supposed to be like that for some reason, and he has to learn with those things, than blame God.
You're right, we always seem to look our problems in a different perspective, when we see someone dealing with something more problematic. And that's why we shouldn't blame God, but yet accept our load, because it corresponds to what we did in a past life and to what we need to learn to progress spiritually.
My religion is Spiritism.
Peace!

God has worked in my life in many, many ways. One of the major things He has done was keep me during the hardest time in my life. My son was born stillborn in 2004.
One thing I want you to notice is when God is speaking to you. When your co-worker phoned, that was God's way of showing you that things could be worse and also that He is right there with you. Remember all things work together for good to them that love the Lord. Pray and have faith, He will see you through it all! God is good! Have a wonderful day! :)

I believe that God put everything He did in my life for a reason, and that by dealing with them and overcoming them I become stronger physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Sure, that may sound like guru talk, but it's just the way I choose to live my life: deal with problems as they come around, and don't worry about things that haven't yet come to pass.
