As far as I know athiests don't pray. Athiests don't believe in any type of God so typically Atheists go through life believing that they got to where they are without any divine help and whatever happens in life it is because they (the individual) got themselves there. Because They feel that there is no divine help avalible they don't need to pray to a divine being for guidence or assistance. In times of crisis some athiests will talk to other friends and family about the crisis or problem feeling that they don't need to consult a divine being

Well Atheists don't pray. When I have problems, I work them out, when a family member is sick I take them to the Dr.

We don't pray. If someone's sick then of course we hope they get better, but we know that our hoping doesn't have any magical healing powers. Exactly what we might do to help them depends on the situation. Ensuring that they receive necessary medical attention is probably the most important thing. But if it's particularly serious and they're in hospital, there's usually not much that we can do.

We don't pray. We put our faith in the doctors and nurses that are actually treating the person we love. If you have problems then try to work through them logically, don't just give up and hope that an almighty presence will save the day. Make your life your own.

thats why atheists are so miserable..they dont pray thats the whole point...i would suggest being catholic...i dont see why people become atheist..do you think you are better than everyone else..wut if christianity never existed..would it hurt to at least try to believe...at least you wont go to hell or purgatory for a very long time.! please dont become atheist convert to catholism...(baptist is protestant) catholic was the first form of christianity and should always be...there is nothing wrong with baptist if your family and friends are stick to that ..!

I prayed to god for 35 years, I now pray to Joe Pesci and have noticed about the same percentage of my prayers get answered.
Next I'm praying to Jim Darwin to see if the % goes up or down

Why would an Atheist pray? There's no god to speak to.

If you are an atheist, you don't pray for anything. What you do is pay for a good doctor and if it doesn't work out, well, schucks. Thats life, ain't it.
