Something you know you should do, but are not able to?
Something you want to reach but no matter how hard you try, you can't?

1.Why didn't the all knowing GOD just save us from the get go.
Or set it up so that Jesus didn't have to die for us.
GOD knew we would need saving so why didn't he intertwine that within our design?

2. Of all times, Jesus's coming could bennifit us the most now, why did he come 2000 yrs ago..

3.and does this mean that everyone before Jesus was not saved????

It was answered that the reason non christians don't understand christianity is they have sinned.

Do Christians sin? How can a Christian understand Christianity if they have sinned.

Therefor, assumeing Christianity is correct, the only person who would know anything at all about Christianity would be Jesus himself.

Are any of you Jesus? If not, is the only appropriate answer a Christian can give to any question is "I don't know because I am a sinner and don't know Christianity"?

I'm sorry,

It seems to me that a few of you (not all) revel in it, as if to make someone jealous that they don't get to spend eternity hanging out with you and god. if you really search your soul...do you get some kind of enjoyment out of it?

this song I wrote

it goes like this

I've seen from Heaven
how The Silence has
raise a voice of suffering
waiting for the moment to say

to say

I'm not crying not because I want
without a doubt, I'm dying
If I don't feel Your hand beside me
I can't go on.

I can't go on

but when I see The sky above
i see your face and between your lips
a voice that says you love me!

you love me.

Seriously. Or what if I'm engaged in sex during his awe inspiring return? What will happen? My question, i guess, is what happens when Jesus returns? Light explodes into the world and all good souls just float into the heavens? Will we actually see him?

There are passages at the end that do not appear in the earliest manuscripts, which indicates that somebody tacked them on years later. Most modern Bibles acknowledge this with a footnote or parenthesis. This kind of thing is why it's impossible to be a fundamentalist. You don't even know what the Bible IS.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has been dragging its feet for years now "revising the criteria for evaluating a request to add a new emblem of belief" to the list of religious identifiers from which honorably discharged veterans can choose to have engraved on their headstones. Currently there are thirty-eight emblems on the approved list, but the VA has so far refused to add the Wiccan pentacle (an upright pentagram surrounded by a circle). Everyone knows the agency is just hiding behind red tape. Some people think of the pentacle/pentagram as a Satanic symbol and want it excluded. But it isn't the place of the U.S. government to judge what is and what is not a "legitimate" religion. Personally, I think the emblems should be offered but not paid for by taxpayer funds. But if the government is going to foot the bill, then the policy should be fair; it shouldn't discriminate.

What do you think? Isn't it high time the VA stopped stalling and did the right thing?

based on how well the answer pertains to the question, or if the answer coincides with our own opinion. many times i have found that the answer is great, even though it's different than my beliefs.

example - when people ask what the devil is and the answer is something like: In part, the devil and his temptations are a test for us to see how well we obey God.

well i think this is a good biblical answer, from the point of a christian, but, i don't agree with it since i am pagan and don't believe in the devil.

my answer might be: to scare people into religion.

so, how are we supposed to answer?

He is five years old and is driving the wife and I insane. Actually, being an actual European, the wife seems to have a higher level of ability to tolerate lesser types than most. However, I admit to being at my wits end.

Amir wakes up late this morning, then proceeds to spill orange juice onto the tile floor! Fine accidents happen, even though they seem to happen more with this person. He then spent the next five minutes rattling on and on and on about some Spider Man movie. What the ****?

My 8 year old daughter is already studying Chinese at level 2, while teaching females 3 times her age about dignity and courage!

I know there is an age gap, but this is reggoddamndiculous!

So, my querie to the dear readers on this Y/A board is where to send off such a truculent tyke for the summer? Is there some sort of military camp we can just get 2 months of peace and quite from sending him too?

Don't even get me started on the uneven coloring he will do 38 % of the time. (I have checked and ran a report on my excel program to chart his progress.....not good....not good.)
