Jesus is God, God the Son. God the Father and God the Holy Spirit together with Jesus make up the Christian trinity. One God, three distinct manifestions. You can't really worship one without worshipping the whole anyway.

Jesus said the answer in John 4:24

John 4:23-24
the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.”

The true worshipper woship his Father so the false do exactly the opposite, Jesus was his son (luke 1:32-33) and his name is in Psalms 83:18 Jehovah. If you believe in Jesus do what he told you if you don´t believe just remember John 3:16 and remember that jesus said that he is not equal to his father John 14:28.

As Jesus is God, and God is Jesus, worshipping one is the same as worshipping the other. Usually when we worship him as "God", we are thinking in terms of the whole world he made, the great miracles he performs, and the majesty of him through all time and space. When we worship him as "Jesus" we think of the personal sacrifice he made for "me", and the love he shows "me" personally.

You must worship the Son before you are allowed to go before the Father. However, worship the Father at all times for He sent His Salvation to us. God is All and Christ reigns on His right hand.
