For not believing in God(s)...
why do some of you spend so much time trying to convince the rest of us that we are wrong?

We are the minority, I personally view religion as harmful. It is sad what some people do in the name of their God/Gods.

I'm not trying to convert however.

I'm trying to show atheism to those willing to actually take a look at it, as we are commonly demonized in the eyes of certain religions.

Non of us serve the devil, not even unknowingly, it is very rude to think of such.

We are moral, just because we don't believe in a God/Gods punishing us for misbehaving doesn't mean that we do whatever without conscious.

Just trying to get rid of some of the stereotypes of atheism.

Why do you spend so much time trying to convince us that we are wrong.

We're not trying to convince you that you are wrong, we telling you why we think you are wrong and why we don't believe.

because a large group in your circle spend their days making life difficult for many others (gays, Muslims, non-religious) and also stand in the way of valuable social tools like stem cell research and teaching evolution. Tell you what, if you can get your side to stop this stuff, i will get my side to stop attacking people personally. Deal?

We don't care if you believe or not. We are just responding to the claims of Christians. If you would be so kind as to quit trying to get us to "accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior", quit telling us we will go to Hell if we don't, quit trying to force the pseudo-science called "creation science" to be taught in the public schools, etc., we would be quiet.

Until then, as long as you Christians push, we will push back.

To Chris P: Are you saying that they work for me? My name starts with a D.

Because there is no denying of GOD.
No matter how hard you try, you simply can not deny the existence of a higher power who made and manage who whole universe.
You look at a piece of pot, a cloth, a brink from ancient time and you can tell a lot about the creater. Who made it, how, when, why etc etc. archiologists can tell a whole bunch about the creater just by looking at the creation.
So look at earth, look at the milky way, look at the galaxies. what can you tell about them ? and what can you tell about the creater. who made them ?
makes sense ?

You're most likely going to get people that say that they have never, or never seen anyone from their religion put pressure on anyone else, which is hogwash. Or you'll get the crazies who say that its their duty to spread the word.
