I've only met that very rarely...
What I have met, which struck me as peculiar (and this may be down to British reserve, and not apply in the USA and elsewhere), were Christians who were convinced that all non-Christians were hell-bound, but did not engage in evangelism or any other means of spreading the gospel.
Most often it seemed out of fear of some sort of social "faux pas" or rejection. But that hardly rates in comparison to a soul in hell forever.

I have found, in my experience, that those who revel in such things are not Christian and are most certainly hellbound themselves. I suppose that this does not have to be the case, but it seems to be, again, from my own experience.
No true Christian will enjoy this fact, especially not at this time. For one thing, every single Christian was at one time hellbound themselves, and for the exact same reason everyone else is hellbound -- and they know it! They realize that their purpose in life is to be a witness for Jesus Christ and to lead all to God.
Therefore, in a way, I do not think that it is fair to ask Christians this question. It is rather like asking if a fireman secretly enjoys sitting around, doing nothing about a fire in order to watch people burn alive. If they were that kind of person, why on earth would they be a fireman?
At the same time, I have heard of preachers who seem to delight in people going to hell. I must point out again that I do not believe that they are Christians, I believe that this is impossible. However, there might be Christians who are true Christians who have been tormented so much for so long that they may indeed wish for the time to come that justice is done. This is not exactly the same thing as enjoying them to be hellbound, but they might accidentally cross that line sometimes and still be a Christian is my point.
Christians are still humans and many of them are at different levels of maturity in Christ. The closer they get to God, the more like Him they will become. Jesus Christ died for all, He died for everyone in hell, and God is not willing that any should perish -- the Bible says, not even one. However, God is a Just God, He will allow people to chose Him or not. If they chose evil, they will not get God. God has no pleasure in this at all!

Definitely not...in fact, I don't tell people that. Mostly because I am not God, and I would never feel that I have the knowledge of who will or will not be in Hell. I know that Jesus tells us some will be there, but since only God can truly know a person inside, it is only God who can make that judgment.
But I do pray for lost souls. I do not want anyone to suffer hell and I certainly do not revel in the fact that some may go there.

Enjoyment in telling someone about there direction in life is never an issue when it comes to a serious matter of life or death. It is not the intention to for a True Christian to make anyone jealous of our relationship with the Lord but to make them aware that there are only two paths that in life that you can choose........eternal life with the Father, In the Kingdom of God, or death. You make the choice, we only try to warn you (those who are spiritually blind) that the world offers you temporary wealth and happiness by chance and circumstance but the Kingdom of God offers love and riches for an eternity..........This is what we are commissioned to do as true saints and faithful servants of God, so that as many people as possible may come to repentance of their sins (transgression of God's spiritual laws) through Jesus Christ and have eternal life in the "family" of God.

And, you obviously deep down, enjoy making up questions with little or no basis in fact. I am around Christians all the time and many non-Christians and seldom if ever here ANY talk of hell. Funny thing is I hear it most from non-believers who are probably begining to "feel the heat."
A good Christian does not wish ill onto anyone, and surely not hell for anyone.

I don't enjoy the prospect of anyone going to hell, but I do enjoy knowing that I can be used to keep you from it! Nobody needs to go there, nobody WANTS to go there, and any who say they do are fooling themselves. I use ALL of my answers here as often as possible for that purpose. I don't want to see anyone get tossed into a lake of fire, and neither does God.
Sorry that you get the impression that a lot of us are mean that way, we arent. We just want to see people come to the Lord and accept salvation. If that is mean, then I guess you can label us as such, some would disagree with you, some would agree.

absolutely not. I don't even like the thought of it - for lack of a better explanation, it is like fingernails down a chalk board on my spine when I bring it up. But still it is my duty to warn people of the consequences of their decisions. And since it is an eternal decision they need to be informed. There is a way that seems right unto man but the end thereof is death (Scripture).

I am a Christian and I don't go around doing that. Thank you for clarifying that you are not referring to all Christians, but a few of them. Honestly, I think that Christians who take the aggressive tactic of condemning others and trying to frighten them into a relationship with Jesus Christ are not very mature in their walk with God. Jesus is gentle - He is not a bully. One can make a powerful statement of faith to someone else by simply treating them with love and respect as they share their faith. One can tell what the Bible says will happen to those who reject Christ, but to do so in a judgmental, threatening, self-righteous way is to demonstrate one's own spiritual immaturity, for that is not the example for reaching out to others that Jesus Christ set for us.
My own son was once a Christian, but for a time during my divorce to his father, when his father was doing terrible things all while calling himself a Christian, my son had a Christian friend who was trying to motivate my son to "come back to God". The friend's method of "motivating" was to yell at him and say "don't you CARE that you are going to end up in hell if you don't change your ways?". That did nothing but drive my son further away from God. That, combined with my ex-husband's hypocritical behavior and my own personal struggles with the divorce, drove my son away from God and he is no longer a Christian.
So, I say to you that I appreciate your question very much. Too many Christians turn people away from God by the way that they seem to delight in their self-righteous attitude, when if they took a long look in the mirror, they would see that they have their own issues to deal with. I am a Christian, and it disturbs me to see other Christians behave this way. I hope if any Christians who act this way see your question, they will reflect upon how their actions actually hurt, not help others.

No.I avoid it unless a person throws their paganism in my face and then asks me my opinion.I do not tell anyone they are going to hell....simply that they are on the broad path or road that leads to hell, and ultimately the lake of fire.Saying this is an act of love.If one wanted to see a person eternally in torment they would not tell that person the truth.

No, I don't enjoy it anymore than I would enjoy telling people who are running towards a cliff at full-speed that they will fall off and die. It's just a statement of fact and it's up to the other person to decide what they are going to do about it.
