It was answered that the reason non christians don't understand christianity is they have sinned.

Do Christians sin? How can a Christian understand Christianity if they have sinned.

Therefor, assumeing Christianity is correct, the only person who would know anything at all about Christianity would be Jesus himself.

Are any of you Jesus? If not, is the only appropriate answer a Christian can give to any question is "I don't know because I am a sinner and don't know Christianity"?

I'm sorry,

I guess this would be "any question about Christianity" but somehow some of them end up answering questions about paganism with "you need jesus", to which I'm not sure they are qualified to answer, you know - being a sinner and all

That answer was false. we all have sinned, we all don't understand the full power of christianity, but God puts it in our hearts and minds and helps us all understand christianity with a little bit of work on our part

The answer to the previous question is wrong. The reason non-christians don't understand Christianity is because they don't know Jesus. All people sin regardless if they are a christian or not. The only difference between a christian and a non christian is the christian's sins have been forgiven.

Well, I wouldn't go with that answer because everyone sins. That's faulty logic and most certainly not doctrine, and therefore doesn't have bearing in reality. I'm sure there are a number of reasons why non-Christians would or wouldn't understand Christianity. No one is perfect and plenty of people do understand Christianity, including Christians and non-Christians. There are also plenty of people who don't understand it, again, including both Christians and non-Christians.

Of course Christians can sin and still understand Christianity. Everyone, including every Christian, sins; therefore if no sinner understood the Word then no one would!

The whole point of Christianity is the Jesus *redeems* sinners, rather than actually preventing them from sinning in the first place. Although it's certainly good to sin as little as possible. But if you do, it's not the end of the world. Just ask for forgiveness.

Whoever told you that a sinner cannot understand Christianity must be perfect then. More perfect in fact than Paul who at least had the humility to admit that he is a wretched sinner in Romans 7:15-25. and cannot help but sin despite all his best efforts.

Everyone sins regardless of whether they are Christian or not. It has nothing to do with understanding Christianity per se. We sin because we were born with a sinful nature.

For all have sinned (that includes Christians) and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23).
The 'mistake' is for them to not 'get back up' and try some more. Seek (can include 'falling down').

You need to learn the difference between logic and rhetoric. That's taught in the nursery - I'm not in charge of the nursery this week.

For the rest of you this is a practical example of what it means in Proverbs:

Pro 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
Pro 26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

In other words - a man who fools with a fool is a fool.

I never heard that before that is crazy..everybody sins!! it is human nature! that statement saying non christians don't understand christianity because they sin makes no sense what so ever..where did you get that from? I was raised catholic but I'm not active although I do believe in god..but I disagree with that statement...its not that they don't understand it just that they choose not to believe it...

Sorry brother that is not logic.

You will learn nothing of God until you first show intial faith, obediance to his commandments and read and pray.

The only way you will ever know God exists beyond logic is through obediance to his commandments and the holy ghost WHICH CONFIRMS ALL GODS WORDS.

Once you have that confirmation then that will eliminate all evolution, scientoligy and logic and will give your life purpose and meaning.
