There's an office bet going on, and the last bite of a cookie is up for grabs. There's no Biblical evidence either way, but my co-worker says it's a Dogwood tree, and I say it was most likely an olive tree, because there are a lot of olive trees in Israel, and I've been and didn't see one Dogwood tree in Israel. PLUS there's a 2,000 year old olive tree at the Garden of Gethsemane (a little over a mile from the crucifixion site of Golgatha), and no 2,000 year old Dogwood trees. Help settle this dispute!!
Serious question folks, any evangelistic or de-evangelistic answers will be reported.
