who want to bash each others religions? ive just gone through a myraid of questions of the same rants from both sides of the table. it comes down to this...who gives a s***. when someone bashs your religion or beliefs you should shut the hell up, turn the other cheek and know in YOUR mind, which should be the only thing that matters, that you are right. its senseless to waste your time asking, why do they push their gods on me or why do they try to tell me there is no go. shut up. stop complaining. you're wasting space and time. why don't we just set those pointless differences aside and try to work for the greater good of mankind. religous or not, life wont progress unless we make something with the time we have. sitting around a fighting about it just goes to show that we pride on conflict just to prove a point.

There's an office bet going on, and the last bite of a cookie is up for grabs. There's no Biblical evidence either way, but my co-worker says it's a Dogwood tree, and I say it was most likely an olive tree, because there are a lot of olive trees in Israel, and I've been and didn't see one Dogwood tree in Israel. PLUS there's a 2,000 year old olive tree at the Garden of Gethsemane (a little over a mile from the crucifixion site of Golgatha), and no 2,000 year old Dogwood trees. Help settle this dispute!!

Serious question folks, any evangelistic or de-evangelistic answers will be reported.

Fundamentalism/Evangelicalism of any kind is bad and does more harm then good. Do you agree or disagree? State your reasons why you do agree or why you disagree.

Why do you always try convincing people there is no such thing as a God, if in fact there was no God then there would not be a need to convince people that there isin't one, right. So if there is no God then all you athiests are just wasting your time whith convincing people and are acting very delusional: and if there is a God then why would you try convincing people otherwise? Both ways you are just wasting your time, right?

If a parent holds a child’s hand over a burning stove and says,

‘Love and obey me and I will let you enjoy your favourite dessert. If you do not love and obey me I will burn your hand off!” The child can choose to love the parent get a reward or choose the opposite and get his hand burnt off. But the REAL question is, did the child have freewill to make that choice?

Freewill is defined by Concise Oxford Dictionary as [n] the power of acting without the constraint of necessity or fate; the ability to act at one’s own discretion or [adj.] voluntary

If the choice is made out of fear of punishment or hope of reward it cannot be FREEWILL can it?

Isn’t that the measure of REAL love when it is voluntary? Isn't God's awesomness enough to inspire love in us?

So my question is, if everyone underwent the same soul learning process throughout eternity and there was no eternal punishment or reward would you still believe in God and do good and treat others well? Think about it.
