Reincarnation is not only possible but probable and can be proven through physics. The human brain is powered by a form of electricity and as physics teaches; energy never dies, it just changes form. It's only reasonable that energy would seek a "ground" in a brain with lessened brain waves. I believe that everyone, some where between birth and four months, recives the energy of a dead person's brain but through the tranisition from one brain to another much is lost and that's why most people can't remember details of their past lives without hypnotic regression or deep meditation. Ever meet someone who was shallow, mean-spirited and not really in touch with any form of spiritualism? Chances are that person is what I call a "new soul" who wasn't lucky enough to receive the brain waves of some dead person because there are far too many births happening these days over deaths. Periods in history like this usually will level out after 100 or so years and the number of deaths eventually catches up to the number of births and then souls can begin to rise to higher levels of consciousness rather than dtarting from scratch as a new soul.

Yes!
I believe in the possibility that a Soul has lived many lives in the flesh. And that these souls are on a constant path home; this path, by some, is called The Way.
And I believe that the memories of any past lives are wiped away during rebirth, and that we are only left with our personality and congenital wisdom (which has been defined over the life of that particular soul).
So, if you think about it, as human beings were created (if, of course, you believe in this), they were given a soul. And, as more and more humans mulitplied, more and more souls were being born into these new bodies of the flesh.
Then, as time went by, and people started dying, the souls of the departed that had not reached the enlightened "Christ" state were then reborn into a new body to continue their walk in The Way, in order to reach the that All-High state.
I do believe that memories of past lives can be obtained during any one physical life of the flesh, but I believe this comes to you during part of your Soul's journey in The Way.
On a side note, if you think about this as being a possibility, it might just bring to light WHY some humans are homosexual (or feel that they should have been born the opposite sex).
Maybe a homosexual man's Soul, in previous lives, was predominantly female; and thus, when in a male body they cling to more of a female mentality (or visa versa).
And maybe, just maybe, the purpose of being born into both male and female bodies (different races, etc), back and forth, in a Soul's path is to enlighten that souls mind to understand equality.
If you look at our history, you will see that we are growing closer and closer as a race. Equality is becoming more real than it was, say, 100, 1000, etc. years ago. Maybe this is due to our souls being enlightened in The Way, thru the differences in the lives the soul has lived.
This is just my belief, but it makes sense to me. So I thought I would share.

If you don't know where you came from you have no definition.
No, not in the typical use of the word. We were created to spend an eternity with God. But because of our fallen state, the one life on this planet allows us the oppertunity to choose whether or not we will accept that gift from God, the work of His Son on the cross. Choosing it makes us right before Him again and gains us enterance to that eternity with Him, as opposed to an eternity without Him. Untill we do enter there is a plan and purpose for us here which does reap rewards in the eternity for the faithfulness of our obedience here and now.
Yes, there is a next life but you will be the same person you are now, in perfect form if you choose wisely. You really don't want to choose a place without God for eternity. That comes with not one good thing for good things can only come from God.

i believe in reincarnation.
i think that people are meant to perfect their souls as much as possible in order to contribute fully to the transcendental power of All. each life a person lives holds lessons & is an opportunity to gather experience and knowledge, bringing them closer to enlightenment and benefitting All there is. i also believe that everyone chooses when, where, and to whom to be born, when they are in an unbiased state, in order to have the experiences that will enable them to learn the most. pain & suffering are often the tools of the lesson.
(also, i believe in past lives because of personal experience-- having had 'waking dreams' of having female 'circumcision' performed on me ever since i can remember [around 3 or 4] and not knowing about what it was until i was much older)

Since I was a child I believed in past lives. However I have no proof or rememberance of anything. There are documented cases of children (before age 10) who recall past lives ~ and then to their parents dismay & surprise, they can recall details and HISTORIC PROOF BEYOND DOUBT that "This is what happened when I lived then." Kids man ~ the link to all missing things, they know it all don't they? Keys to heaven is our youth.:o]
