The bible talks alot about unleavened bread and all it says is that it is bread with no yeast. However, self raising flour was not known back then. So would bread made from self raising flour be Leavened or Unleavened?

I mean after all of this time, the bible has never been updated? Why is it that after the dark ages no one has updated the bible? I guess no one feels like they are holy enough? I guess the hand of the holy hasn't reached out of the clouds and struck the pages with the pen. The bible is nothing more to me then a great book. For the people who live off the bible, I feel need to start living their own life and making their own mistakes. We were put on earth to live life to the fullest.

All this afterlife lark? I just cant see it myself. Humans are just an animal, albeit a very special one without a doubt we exist above the other animals.
But seeing as we evolved from a lesser form. when did God finally let us in? To my knowledge animals dont get into heaven, and what were were all those millions of years back certainly were not human.

writeen before Jesus' death?
B/c i thot Jesus died to take away the 10 Commandments!! and yet, the Bible says that we only have to be saved to get there, and other verses say that we have to follow his commandments!! So, im just wondering, were the verses that say we have to follow the commandments written before Jesu's death?

I have heard that even the romans thought that the use of the cross as tortuos death was a bit too much and that they eventually either just stopped it or banned it alltogether?

When they find out your religious believes, they try to talk to you about their believes and tell you they're not trying to convert you, yet they tell you about all the "truths" that prove their believes, This is very hipocritical and they seem to think that it's not trying to convert people. And please use clean language and no insults.

Gen. 1:20, 21, 24, 25: “God went on to say: ‘Let the waters swarm forth a swarm of living souls* . . . ’ And God proceeded to create the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves about, which the waters swarmed forth according to their kinds, and every winged flying creature according to its kind. . . . And God went on to say: ‘Let the earth put forth living souls according to their kinds . . . ’ And God proceeded to make the wild beast of the earth according to its kind and the domestic animal according to its kind and every moving animal of the ground according to its kind.” (*In Hebrew the word here is ne'phesh. Ro reads “soul.” Some translations use the rendering “creature[s].”)
Lev. 24:17, 18: “In case a man strikes any soul [Hebrew, ne'phesh] of mankind fatally, he should be put to death without fail. And the fatal striker of the soul [Hebrew, ne'phesh] of a domestic animal should make compensation for it, soul for soul.” (Notice that the same Hebrew word for soul is applied to both mankind and animals.)
Rev. 16:3: “It became blood as of a dead man, and every living soul* died, yes, the things in the sea.” (Thus the Christian Greek Scriptures also show animals to be souls.) (*In Greek the word here is psy•khe'. KJ, AS, and Dy render it “soul.” Some translators use the term “creature” or “thing.”)

Ritually speaking do you always burn it? I know that typically you "smudge" something to clean up an area of negative energy. But I was hoping to do this some other way, perhaps as a simmer on the stove or in the bathtub.

If so, can you use just any old sage that you would grow or eat?

The reason I ask, is that I live in a smallish place that doesn't have all these weird ooky things, some folks here are actually scared of native rituals like smudging. SOOO I can't find the smudge sticks. Plus I recently quit smoking and all kinds of smoke bug me now.

Was hoping I would get some good chi by sitting in a plain bath with some sage leaves thrown in...with the bathroom open and let the smell get all through the house.

This question is to challenge those who oppose anyone who does not believe as they do. Perhaps they are uncomfortable and not as convinced of their beliefs as they would like to be.

im looking for a faith that considers its main aims to help the poor, starving and homeless promotes peace and respect and good willand is actively anti war and persecution. I dont want one that waists its time on trivial things like insulting other religions or campaigning against gay marraige while people starve.

I have battled cancer for quite some time now and I can proudly proclaim that he has carried me through every step of the way. I am so grateful to him and his love and mercy. Cancer is not a fun thing, especially if you see your family suffer from it. But man do I hope that people will see God is in control no matter what. His plans are higher than ours and we don't always understand them, but we can trust him that he will guide us. He is our firm foundation and our strong rock. What has he done for you?

It is not modern it came from the tree of knowledge it will not and cannot prove existance or non-existance of God. It was put here for a test, just to see how over come by vanity we would become.Vanity is the original sin commited by Lucifer and his crew (before man was created) just before they fell. As it is on earth and so it is in Heaven. Has the message not been clear enough, are certain humans not doing exactly what certain Angels did, and holding themself's in such high regard. At least we got a warning.
