The Bible says "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, because it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for His good pleasure."(Philippians 2:12,13)
God says "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will counsel you with My eye upon you." (Psalm 32:8)
Jesus said "If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I merely speak on My own." (John 7:17)
In other words, if you really want to do God's will, He will help you tell the difference between what is from God and what is merely of human origin.
Have patience. It is by faith and patience we inherit the promises. (Hebrews 6:12)
In Psalm 138:8, in the King James Version it says "The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me."
Remember, no one expects to find peaches on a peach tree in May. If the blossoms appear, that is evidence everything is headed in the right direction. Continue to blossom for the Lord.
Peace to you.

Hello Savannah,
I appreciate and honor your zeal for the Lord and to teach His Word to others. The first thing you need to do is to relax in the Lord and just let Him gently guide you. You do not have to know all things right now. Just start studying and let the Lord open the doors in His time.
"how will i knwo when God's calling me"
God will confirm all things so that you will be sure. Note that He has called all believers to share His Word and the Gospel.
"but im not a perfect Christain so i dont really feel worthy"
Then you are starting off in the most perfect place you could ever start. For without Him, we can do nothing. But we can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us.
"would i b considered a hipocrit?"
Far from it. You are in essence saying, "God, I cannot do it, I am not worthy of it, will YOU do it for me?" Sounds to me like you are just dealing with true reality.
"but i really want to serve Him like now im woriking in my church nursery and help in vaction Bible school so it makes feel gr8 doing His work but what do i do?"
You are starting in the right place. The Bible says not to despise the days of the "little things". As you work with the youngsters, God will show you great examples of His love toward us.
Note that Timothy in the Bible felt the same as you. Read what Paul wrote to him in his two epistles. Feel free to email me at any time for encouragement and direction.

Well, ask God if that is what He wants you to do. When God tells you, you will know, and it won't go away. And don't worry about being worthy, Paul, who wrote many of the books in the New Testament started out by persecuting the church, and went on to do great things in the name of our Lord. To quote a Relient k song "the beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair". Grace is undeserved favor, and no one is a "perfect christian" except for Christ, that is why we need a savior. Keep working for Him, don't give up on it, and don't listen to the devil when he tells you that you're not good enough, because God loves you, and wants to use you to spread His word. So trust Him, pray and believe that you will receive an answer then wait for it to happen in God's timing.
Read Ephesians Chapter 6, and Psalm 3.
God bless

There are no perfect Christians ! If you know God is calling you then He believes you are worthy, and that`s all that should matter to you . Follow His Guidance through Prayer and don`t turn a deaf ear toward the Calling ! The Lord will guild you and there is no calling by God to insignificant to Glorify His Holy Name. ( PS : Don`t worry about your spelling as one post suggest , just use spell check like the rest of us do ! ) May God grant you the wisdom you seek , and may you always serve the Lord with Truth ! **Proverbs 15:31.. The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise ..**

First, good for you to be so articulate and working for the Lord at your age.
Second, there are no perfect Christians. The only one who walked the earth in perfect grace died on the cross over 2000yrs ago. You can not be perfect. The idea isn't perfection but progression. Work towards that and you will be fine.
Third, if God is calling you to do something HE will make a way for it to happen, just always pray his will be done in your life.
Fourth, not feeling worthy is a trap set by the evil one to make you FEEL you are not able to do Gods work. Remember the devil only attacks and persists with humans that are doing something great for God, the ones who aren't don't require much attention b/c their not a threat.
Fifth, I would like to pray for you . . . . . .Lord I pray that Savannah would see you. I thank you for her and her heart. I pray Lord you keep her in your hand and expand her territory. Keep her from evil (the Jabez prayer, 1 Chron 4:9) that she may not cause pain. I thank you for her obedience and I pray Lord our God that your will be done in her life. Thank you in Jesus name I pray. Amen
You can always email me.
God Bless

God doesn't usually tell us what He has planned for us to do a long way down the road. When He called Abram (Abraham) He told him to get up and leave his family and go to the land that God would show him.
So in your case the best thing to do is to keep studying the Bible, surrounding yourself with true believers and mature Christian teachers, and pray for God to reveal his will for your life to you one step at a time.
Maybe He will call you to be a Sunday school teacher. Maybe He will call you to be a wife who teaches her children God's ways. Maybe He will call you to some more public ministry. But God tells us to be faithful to Him right where we are at now and then He will trust us with greater things down the road.
Matthew 25:21 His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.'

Usually God gives us a desire to do the things we will be good at. If you really want to be a teacher and enjoy being with children, follow your desire. It's not a matter of whether your "perfect". It's just a matter of doing what the best you can and letting God take care of the rest. You have lots of time to prepare. Continue to work with children and let things work themselves out. God knows the desires of your heart and will open the doors when the time comes.

Hi Savannah.
It sounds like you are already on the right track. I agree with Cyn, nobody but Jesus is perfect. He is looking for people who are willing. With you working in the nursery and vacation bible school, it sounds to me like you already are. Remember, your 13. You still have time to consider your career choices.
Don't worry about being considered a hypocrite. Jesus knows your heart. People believe whatever they want to believe, whether it's true or not. (They're not perfect, either!) Don't let them bother you, and certainly don't let what they think stop you.

hey, everyone should be serving him, so the fact that you really want to serve him is wonderful. The whole purpose of being a christian is serving him. If you really want to be a teacher, pray about it constantly and God will somehow let you know. If you have a real talent with kids and teaching, then I would think so. Read the Bible daily to have a great relationship with Him and believe me, many of your questions would be answered. If you want to talk more, my AIM is MA mahME ia.

Hi Savannah
The first thing you need to know is there is no such thing as a perfect Christian. You can only be a Christian and it's great that you are already that!
Next, you are being very generous in helping in your churches ministries.... way to go!
Now for your plans... take your schooling seriously, do as well as you can, be involved in as much as you are able, keep your marks up and you will be all set to make the decisions you need to about your future. No matter what you do now to prepare for your future - as long as you continue to honour God, He will continue to honour you.
You will find out soon enough what His plans for you are. Pray and ask Him to help you, and to prepare the way for you - no matter what His plans for you are...
Blessings to you dear!
