i just listened to an interveiw with Charles Peligreeni for the third time. He deliberately said there was nothing in the tomb but fabric, He said it was an anomaly that he could not find anything that says there were any bones in it for a thousand years.

John 3:16 "blah blah blah will not perish, but have eternal life"...

basically it says that believers will live forever...

so does that mean that people who aren't "saved" just die? what about hell?

So atheists are right... we are just going to die and go nowhere?

PESHAWAR - A homemade bomb in a Pakistan market damaged four music and video shops on Sunday just weeks after their owners refused an order to close down from Islamic hardliners.

Police said two people were injured in the blast at a market in Peshawar, the largest city in the deeply conservative North West Frontier Province along the border with Afghanistan.

One of the shopowners, Bashir Khan, said that hardliners calling themselves the “Soldiers of Islam” had left him a note several weeks ago, saying that music shops in the Gulshan market should close their doors.

Does that really give him a big thrill? Or are church people just assuming?

Maybe they think to themselves: "Jesus is probably a lot like us; he wants to be praised and glorified all the time."

people in the days of lazarus probadly look upon him as a nobody , what did he have to offer a rich man? would anyone have known by seeing his outward body what he had in his heart,?seemly by his appearance he had nothing that the world would have reconized.. but God sees much more than a begger or a poor man he sees the human heart...

One of the major arguments against euthanasia is that "we" should leave it up to God. The ultimate decision whether someone dies or not should be taken by God. I believe that if God would exist and He would make the decision; He would also decide to have doctors euthanize patients.

But anyway...one of the questions I've always had is if we're not supposed to end lives because it's not up to us, then why is it OK that we prolong lives by giving medical care?

Scientists say that One possible (Not just Possible but Likely) Way for the World to end is, Computers with A.I. (artificial intelligence)

What do you think about this? Do you think our Computers (which are already running our lives) might destroy us?

Please, asnwer nicely I am not trying to pick a fight.

So many sites against islam, media against islam.

Their intention is to extinguish God's Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But God will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). (Surah 61 Verse 8)

No one has laughed at me, criticized my beliefs, made snide remarks, or in any way made me feel ill at ease.
Is there something lacking? Am I not a good Christian? Is God disappointed in me?

I have felt a strong revulsion toward Islamic religion and culture for a long time. I am otherwise very progressive, liberal, and consider myself to be pretty enlightened. Now I've been offered a very good contract to work for 2 years in one of the more moderate countries in the Middle East. It almost seems like a life lesson is being laid out for me to overcome my prejudice. But I am actually getting depressed thinking about being in an Islamic country. I go looking for the positive side of Islam, and I find 10 more revolting things about it. I even feel tempted to join the reactionary movement of people who have a strong hatred toward Islam. I feel a defensive impulse to claim my Christian heritage more strongly, but when I pray I get no consolation. Any words of wisdom? (Muslims, thank you for your interest, but I am not really looking to hear from you - no offense - please understand.)

In a recent question I got the impression that some Christians can't see the point of an atheist existence. Well, actually the term used was 'evolutionist'.

As in "I believe the evolutionists who kill themselves. All the rest appear to be liars. Otherwise, why do they even bother when everything they are, everything they do, everyone they touch will all eventually end in nothingness"

So I wonder if that's how you feel? If someone is not a Christian is their life pointless? If you don't believe in a soul, then you can't love? Does this include Buddhists? If we weren't created by a god, then our lives are meaningless?

Enlighten me please! Personal views preferred to biblical references, thank you.
