Does that really give him a big thrill? Or are church people just assuming?

Maybe they think to themselves: "Jesus is probably a lot like us; he wants to be praised and glorified all the time."

to show off, the one who shouts louder is the one who loves god most and then they compete...For a so call modern religion is pretty advanced :-)

The Bible says that if we don't praise God, the rocks will cry out to Him. Everybody praises differently, if its not for you, then you are not required to.

He is worthy of our praise. He created us and He died for us. Hello, if someone right now, died for you, you would praise them. Why won't you praise Him, He who died for you and would have done it even if you were the only one.
