It's likely he didn't even exist. There could have been a historical Jesus figure who was a man with some influence... it's impossible to say what is true about his life and what is not, although it is pretty easy to pick out what is probable.
On the other hand some scholars have concluded that Jesus probably didn't even exist. The Gospel stories have so much literary influence from earlier pagan hero stories, this is just one of many observations to support this claim. Another is that there were several other figures at the time who have very similar tales, Appolonius of Tyanna for example. Thirdly Events as amazing as those told in the Gospel accounts would have been noted by the historians of the day. Nowhere can a record be found of any of Jesus' deeds except for the biblical and gnostic accounts. Some may argue Josephus at this point but they fail to realize that his account was written nearly 100 years after Jesus' supposed death. Not only this, but his account is very limited and surely came from scriptural sources.
In short, Jesus did very little, and most likely, nothing.

I love the bumper stickers that say, "Who would Jesus bomb?" When I posted such a question on YA, it got deleted. Jesus was quite possibly a great being, but Christianity has proven itself a depraved disaster. People don't seem able to tell the difference, at least not the insane right.

God's plan of salvation represents wisdom to the believers, but it is foolishness to the unbelievers.
Jesus would not come as a conquering hero but as a friend of the friend less. Do not be surprised if he would be among the homeless or the untouchables of our world (Aids patients_) and yes he would associate with the homosexuals and the drug addicts and even the politicians and maybe even Rush Limbaugh? I bet whatever He did would cause headlines and mas hysteria...curing the blind? raising the dead? If the man who spent three days in hell survived that and the power of death...what could He not do?
The greatest miracle to me would to see Him bring Yahoo! off its imperial throne..as they have the old Romans ..thumbs up and thumbs down? well, they boot people and take away all their hard earned points just because some one rated them out...and this without a fair trial? maybe Christ love could cause even Yahoo! to become more compassionate to the poor and powerless on the Internet...but that would take a miracle
