You and a friend fall into an empty well. You survive the fall which was a long one by the way. A friend however is badly injured. You would call for help but the well that your in is located in the middle of nowhere and you both have no cellphones. You have no food or water. Your down there for a day or two. Your friend dies of hunger. You are very close to doing the same. The scenario is if you had to eat to survive, would you eat your friend?

What is up with some Christians stating that some of the Bible isn't to be taken literally? Then others selectively follow what they view is right but ignore other (more immoral) passages. I thought god was "unchanging" that's one of the reasons why he is different from us mortals. He is unchanging because he is always right and thus will never break his promises to us. But then I ask why the change of the old testament to the new? God advocated slavery, sexism and persecution of homosexuals. If he is unchanging then he hasn't changed in his views of these specific topics.

Why can't Christians see these contradictions? Do they want to remain willfully ignorant in hopes that Heaven and a "god" does exist?

how can someone who has been raised as a christian be sure that he /she doesn´t believes just because he/she has been induced to do so?.
If as a child someone is repeating to you that god is your father and he loves you and hell and heaven...may not all feelings towards god, feeling his presence in your heart and so on be just induced "feelings"???

I don't know why this is, but sometimes I get shivers, chills, it feels almost like I can sense I am being watched.

Not just me, but some of my friends also. We have been at night, say 11 o'clock till maybe 1:30 or so am.

Have had times where it felt like something was not quite right, like something or sometimes more than one thing may be watching us.

sometimes, it just eerily feels inhuman, like, they know we are there, watching.

Using a digital cam to take pics, we have come back before, after taking about 30 or more pics, to find things like one of the pics had 2 huge green glowing orbs next to each other, almost like eyes, but you get chills looking at it.

I am sure I still have some of the pics around somewhere, when I get time to find them, but I have been very busy lately.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Am I totally stupid, or are there really evil spirits out there?

These feelings, many times, are sinister, you get a feeling of being afraid of them somehow.

Does everyone think this about me? Why don't people just come up to me and ask their questions instead of being rude to me? I'd gladly tell them that I am not oppressed, that this is my choice, and that no one makes me cover this way or whatever.

With Adam and Eve they were made to have free choice. But what is free choice without choices? Is this why god made the Tree of Knowledge?

The whole thing seems malevolent as he created such a thing for the "sole purpose" to test his creations.

Can god really blame them? "Satan" is known to be very powerful and influential with his words.

The whole thing seems that god overreacted when he himself set the stage for such an event to happen.

I have heard many Christians say to keep the ten commandments yet almost all pretty much keep all except the fourth commandment. The only one that starts with "Remember," the Sabbath Day...(the day jews, 7th Day Adventists, and other 7th Day churches still keep)
None have given an addiquite explaination. Mostly, I have heard something about Jesus changed it to Sunday but this isn't in the Bible and I have read that it was the Cathlic Church that changed it to Sunday. Does anyone have a real answer for this?
