Sure. I'm a Catholic. I see plenty of people converting to Catholicism every year, but people also leave Catholicism and join other religions. If a Catholic really wanted to become a Baptist, there's nothing stopping them.

Just start going to a Baptist church and tell them that you want to join. I don't think that there is such a thing as being converted to a "baptist". Either you are a Christian convert or you are not. Then it's up to you where you choose to go and fellowship and worship.

I believe you can but you don't have to necessarily have to denounce the church and faith because if you did that then you would be denouncing the Christian faith because Catholicism is a denomination of the Christian belief, changing would just signify that you are more comfortable and believe the way that Baptists interpret the Word is more accurate than that of a Catholic church.

Yes. I will also tell you that as a Catholic you can attend both churches so long as you know not to take communion in the Baptist church. I frequently visit other churches just to see how they worship and what they teach. Peace be with you

Of course. A catholic can join and be baptized into the baptist religion any time he or she chooses.

I once met a Catholic who was really into football. He understood I was a Christian but didn't know what church I went to. He asked me "What team do you play for"?
He saw Christianity as the league, and the churches as teams in the same league...I think I kinda like that.

why not? If that is where they feel they are being called to serve, then there shouldn't technically be a problem, although I would think unless you have a very understanding Catholic priest to talk to, the Catholic church may give you a hard time.
