There is an Our Lady of Toledo shrine in the Toledo area (it's actually located in Oregon, Ohio). It's a pro-life shrine.

An hour or so south of Toledo, in the town of Carey, I think there is a Catholic shrine or something, I've seen ads for it on the road to Carey.

There's a beautiful mosque a bit south of Toledo, along I-75, near Bowling Green.
