Christians..Catholics..and many others..

some say Jesus is son of god, some say he is not he's the second god..some were saying there are 3 in 1 god..and bla..bla..bla..
why is this happening? isnt it shows that you people are not really sure which one to believe on..and still use the same corrupted Bible..so many style of teaching..so many style of Bible to follow..
it looks like you all need to change and corrupt the Bible again to suit your life style..

so some were saying Jesus was god's son..God is Holy..Mary the Human is a sinner ( according to someone claims he's a christian )..God cant look on sinner..so LOGICLY..how come God can send Jesus (your so called God's son) spirit into Mary..?? Holy mix a sinner?? weird?!

In Islam, we believe that Allah sent Jesus spirit into Mary ( a holy virgin without a SIN ) and born into the world with miracles.. the miracles was actually to show humans that Allah is present and exist and Jesus was one of His many miracles..

I have been wanting to return to the church and become closer to God for a while now and recently dated a girl that was deeply religious and devoted to God, and she said she doesn't want to see me anymore because she cannot trust herself around me she has been true to God for the last year and a half and this time she hopes to stay true.

I only became successful in dating a year ago and before that I was not. I thought that sex in hotels, etc was what I wanted but now that I met this girl I think I want a spiritual/religious woman.

Thing is that she had been in a lot of relationships, possibly sexual, for someone in her position, maybe some before God I don't know. I feel like if I seek out a religious woman I am somehow giving up what I struggled for years to succeed at. That she will be more experienced than me. I will always have that thought in my mind if I should have fooled around more. I am way ahead of my friends, many of whom are way older than me. What do I want/do?

Between that and the senseless attacks that occur from extremists and hatemongers of various ideologies this forum is frequently a total waste of time. I myself would love to be able to understand people who believe differently from myself but the combination of foolishness and combative behaviors make it nearly impossible most of the time. Am I the only one that would like to learn instead? I doubt it.

I recently read an article that spoke about how purgatory might be a place where those bound for hell must first stop and suffer for their sins - not a place of purging that Catholics believe but a place of suffering based on sins - after suffering they go to hell - separation from God and suffering but of a different kind then the suffering in purgatory
any one ever hear of this - I haven't looked into enough myself to have a very informed opinion yet

I don't want to say because it is a personal spiritual struggle, not a contest or game. But people still ask, even fellow Catholics. So what can I say to not reveal what I'm abstaining from but still keep the situation friendly?

My last resort is to present this problem to God.

Please, pray for my situation.

If you don't believe in God and prayer then don't answer me. This question is not for you.

As a Muslim i find it hard sometime to express what Islam means, only because i can not put it into words. i spent the whole week trying to write something about how Islam effects me and how i interpret Islam personally and all i could conger up is basically nothing to mention !!.
maybe because i am not that religious or because i don't know enough to express what i truly believe.
IF you are a Muslim , what would you say Islam means to you , and what would you say about the injustice that is happening in the world ( women's rights, death,..... )
If you are not a Muslim, what do you think of Islam , how does it affect you , and please i am not talking about the terrorism and all the issues connected to that !. if you actually know what Islam is then i am more than happy to hear what you have to say
THANKS

I have heard many say that they are basically good people and believe that they are going to heaven but are not a member of a specific religion. The questions is:

What standard do you base your Good and Evil on? How do you know what makes you a good person?

If you say society, you must realize that most of our laws are based on Bible laws. Murder is wrong "Thou shalt not kill".

So what do you base your morals on if not some type of religion?

Doesn't the bible say tithes are 10% of your food/agriculture/wine...to be shared with the poor and the (unpaid) priests every 3 years? Wow.

Increase Tithing & Giving in 5 Weeks

Using the ten-step Dynamic Giving System™ by Dr. Rod Rogers, your church can now biblically increase tithing and boost your tithe and offering 10 to 60 percent in just five weeks. In fact, it comes with a no-risk 100% money back guarantee. If you've prayed for ways to increase tithing, this is your answer.

A tithing quote from the holy bible
"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. ‘Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes,’ says the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 3:10, 11)

Why would they bother eating well and being healthy if its only prolonging their wait? Why undergo medical treatment at all?

...an American!
People from all over the world strive to be a citizen here!
We all need to give thanks for the miracle of this Country! We are the most diverse nation, though we are blessed to make it work, no?
If not: Aren't you lucky to have the American right to complain about it?

Some countries do not even offer you that!
There was a communist counrty I was reading about and one man told on another, to the government, that his friend had thought about defecting to the USA. His country killed him, with a bullet to head for just thinking of it!!!
You ALL really should be more THANKFUL to the Great US of A!
YES?
You have luxuries,
you have liberties,
you have access to things that most people simply don't!
How about a good old fashioned round of applause for the United States!
Clap, clap, clap, Clap, clap, clap, Clap, clap, clap, Clap, clap!

What are you thankful for that you know you could not do or have elsewhere???

Can you educate us on your travels?
