...an American!
People from all over the world strive to be a citizen here!
We all need to give thanks for the miracle of this Country! We are the most diverse nation, though we are blessed to make it work, no?
If not: Aren't you lucky to have the American right to complain about it?

Some countries do not even offer you that!
There was a communist counrty I was reading about and one man told on another, to the government, that his friend had thought about defecting to the USA. His country killed him, with a bullet to head for just thinking of it!!!
You ALL really should be more THANKFUL to the Great US of A!
YES?
You have luxuries,
you have liberties,
you have access to things that most people simply don't!
How about a good old fashioned round of applause for the United States!
Clap, clap, clap, Clap, clap, clap, Clap, clap, clap, Clap, clap!

What are you thankful for that you know you could not do or have elsewhere???

Can you educate us on your travels?

First time I went to Mexico (where my wife is from) it was like culture shock. I couldn't wait to get back home to where I'm truly free.

Praise God for our freedom!

Never knew that the americans invented the idea of democracy, there was me thinking that it was in actual fact the ancient greeks, wow thats a kick in the teeth all those wasted hours reading. Secondly I do not nor ever will have the impulse to become an american citizen I would rather live in truly free country and not one that imposes Patriotic acts on its people. Point of fact Europe was ahead of U.S in the granting of liberties to all its citizens ( abolishment of salvery 1802 -U.K). America is a country which seeks to bully either by economic power or by military power those countries which are weaker it is not the great beacon of western democracy but rather a beacon of arrogance and lust for power. so no I do not think that I will give a clap clap for the U.S

I have not had the opportunity to travel to other nations. I am really very grateful to have been born an American. I am Grateful to the men who had such a great vision for this country that they were willing to sacrifice everything to create this wonderful government and nation. I am grateful to the men and women who have and still are putting their lives on the line for us everyday, so that we can enjoy these freedoms. Even though many don't seem to be grateful to them, they still do it. I think that we don't understand how great we have it here. Even our medical care is the best in the world. I have spoken to people from other countries who don't have the quality of Medical care that we do.

There are many people including Americans who want to take our freedoms away. We can't let that happen. We have to be vigilant and keep this nation free. We have to elect leaders who stand for freedom and love America.

It is because of this great nation that we are able to have forums like this and not have our lives or the lives of our families endangered.

Let Freedom Ring!!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

I'd be more blessed to live in a country where I didn't have to put up with fundamentalist Christians. Pity my bank account isn't large enough to afford to do so... yet.
