so what is your opinion? If there is a heaven and hell and someone is an overall very good person, but they are not religious, what do you think will happen to that person?

I understand the values and idea behind Christianity. I understand that according to Christian mythology one must accept Christ as their savior or forever be trapped in Hell.

But what if someone grows up on an island where they practice tribal type rituals and have never heard of the bible or Christ? When they die would they be trapped in Hell? Even though they never had the chance to learn about Jesus or the bible or anything about Christianity?

well first and formost my name is Kristy and I am 20 years old. This may sound stupid but I have a question to ask you. In God's eyes do you think that interracial dating or marriage is wrong? The reason why I ask because I live in a community where they think that this is nasty or it is a sin. I am Indian and color doesn't matter to me but everyone else thinks that its a diease and they say God doesn't like it because the fowls of the earth not mix. I just need some type of guidance or answers.

Are Musilms "required" to give a certain percentage of their income to their Mosque / Imam / etc? ( tithe )

I'm hoping to get straight answers which include either a "yes" or a "no", and also some details, such as percentages or guidelines.

Thanks!

It is ludicrous to say that man controls his future when he has trouble predicting the stock market, political outcomes, earthquakes, and even the weather, let alone having control over his hair and nail growth. So why does man think that they control their own destiny?

"Becoming a christian does not guarantee a better life here on earth. It guarantees a better eternity."

Is this really how Christians feel, how about all religious people, I mean even Buddhism seems to concentrate more on the next plain of existance (Nirvana I think). Is this why we accept all of the crap on this planet because life is short, and eternity is long. Is this why we ignore the homeless when they ask for change, ignore the stranger passing you on the dark street. Is this why we re-elect people that support war, why we still don't wear condoms all the time, or even worse, why we need to. Face it this life might, MIGHT be all you have, and if nothing else people you care dearly about are going to be left this Earth, and then people they care about, and so on. This life is very important, and may or may not decided where you're going next, but if you're going to be good, why not be be good for this life.

I read the news that Moslime terrorists transplanted nukes in 80 US
cities and will detonate them anytime from 5 to 15 years.
Last month I went to London and heard a radical Moslime
saying that--"We heard that US will retaliate overwhelingly if it's nuked. But we are not afraid of being nuked. Infact we will go to heaven after being nuked. But the thing is--do they think we haven't thought about the retaliation??? So, we will hit the US so hard that
it will lose it's capability to fight back. After nuking those 80 cities
and simulataneouly jamming and hacking their sattelite and internet systems--their economy and whole structure will simply collapse!!
98% of Americans will be dead along with all their administration will be vaporized to hell within half an hour!!"

If God made the Garden and placed Adam and Eve there directly and Satan was able to get in and corrupt God's perfect plan, how can we be certain that Satan wasn't able to corrupt the word of God being given to us when it wasn't done directly by God but went through the hands of men? Satan convinced Eve that God was wrong when he told them not to eat of the tree of Knowledge. What if he convinced one or more of the Bible's authors that they misunderstood something God had inspired them to write down thereby causing divisions among men over things God never intended...??

I don't believe in God (or any god) myself, I just thought this was interesting.

Would someone tell me if God has different purpose for creating different skins colours for his creations. Does every skins has particular reasons and purpose? Is it skin colour which God used to identify his creations or used skin colour for other reasons. Has science been able to explain why God choose to create different skin colours for his masterpiece of work?

Islam honours women greatly. It honours women as mothers who must be respected, obeyed and treated with kindness. Pleasing Islam also honours women as wives. Islam urges the husband to treat his wife in a good and kind manner, and says that the wife has rights over the husband like his rights over her, except that he has a degree over her, because of his responsibility of spending and taking care of the family’s affairs. Islam states that the best of the Muslim men is the one who treats his wife in the best manner, and the man is forbidden to take his wife’s money without her consent. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“and live with them honourably”

[al-Nisa’ 4:19]

“And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect) to what is reasonable, but men have a degree (of responsibility) over them. And Allaah is All-Mighty, All-Wise”

[al-Baqarah 2:228]
