Is everything better in your life now that you've been born again? I mean like, has God blessed you with the material things you've desired? Or, what do you think I'm really trying to say?

And why do you feel that way?

Have you noticed how some people blame God for there bad choices in life (freewill) "saying that if God really loved us he wouldn't let that happen"? Freewill includes war vs peace, hate vs love, crime vs giving, self destruction vs self respect etc.

When Paul mentioned baptism to the Jews, they would have automatically assumed that, like circumcision, baptism was for infants too. Paul didn't correct them or mention anything about the "believers baptism". So why would the baptism of infants be looked at as invalid today?

As for the "believe (first) and (then) be baptized" verse, so what, the new (above the age of reason) believer would get the entire household baptized, just like Jewish circumcision. No refutation by Paul.

Well, I'm going to take a lot of flak for this one...

If God changed His own rules then He would in fact be a liar.

So God cannot do everything we propose. He cannot change.

Does that limit His power? No. Its His nature. To be unchanging.

What do you all think? Am I heretic or what?

What God be considered a fundamentalist Christian?

Would God be considered a know it all troll since God would have all the answers?

Would God be in my circle of friends, who always looks at my questions, maybe not to always answer, but to see what I am up to, to answer one or two of mine a day,

Would I see God's answers and give him that best answer once every day or every other day, has a way of communicating, like I do with my current circle of friends most of whom I've known almost a year now?

Would God ask questions? What would God's questions be like? Would they be like my questions, filled with specific details to get more information from the answerors?

Would God phrase his questions, the way I phrase my questions, using code words that I have learned get more attention, would God know that using the words God, Jesus, Evolution, Yahoo Answers, Question, Atheist, Agnostic, Christian, Abortion, Gay/Homosexual, that those words get all the attention?

Entering a mosque does not pose a problem, since Islam is based on a belief in the one-and-only G-d.

Entering a Church however, is problematic as Christianity is based on belief in the Trinity, a concept in which G-d is not 'one-and-only' but has partners as well.

[According to many Halachic authorities, belief in the trinity is only forbidden for a Jew. A non-Jew may follow these tenets since belief in the omnipotent G-d is still present.]

Therefore, it is forbidden for a Jew to enter the sanctuary of the church, i.e. where the actual prayer services are held. This could be misinterpreted as identification with the philosophy. However, it is permitted to enter other rooms in a church for non-religious purposes.

I have been a Christian for a long time, but sometimes in my daily devotional, I come across a verse I have a question about, and I live alone and would like to find a source online where they will reply to your question, does anyone know of one, not one to "look up" but to actually ask and get a reply . thanks

If the evidence ever pointed to something not supported, or directly opposing your faith, would you be able to believe it, or would you faith stop you.

Or, is your faith bigger than your capacity for rational thought.

This confuses me because Jesus says "Ask in my name and you WILL receive." So if you take that literally, then you pray for someone to be healed, it should happen. Even better if you have a group praying, and if they pray diligently until it happens. [Referring to "two or more in my name..." and the parable of the woman and the judge.]

To me, if you believe the Bible literally, then it seems pointless to add "if its your will" because Jesus already said it would be given to you.

Do we pray this because when it doesn't happen, we feel better because we say "well, it wasn't God's will"? If you have added this to your prayer before, tell me why.

Everyday issues affected; Buying, Selling, Toll Roads, Travel Outside U.S., RFID on all you buy/sell=invasion of privacy, hand and eye (retina/fingerprints) used in I.D., amusement parks, deadbeat dads, illegal aliens, etc. When the problems to these new I.D. systems become greater than the issues they are suppose to solve, don't you think that the next solution will be to use the chip implant in people or a lasered number on the skin of the forehead or hand?

I'm doing some reserach and would like a cross section of sensible, intelligent opinions. Many theorists, Dawkins et al say that they cant understand why people are upset when their choice of religion is pilloried or deconstructed.
