Some have an open mind about everything except their faith. Then they use their intelligence to rationalize all contradictions and evil.

What they are attempting to assert is which you're able to be greater open-minded regarding the possibility of the existence of God or a god. while you're open-minded approximately that then of course you will see that if a supernatural/religious being did exist then the thought that a snake did communicate and somebody did stay interior a whale is attainable. truthfully, in case you suspect that somebody or some thing did create each and every thing, then each and every thing else (miracles, conversing animals, somewhat long existence, and so on.) that's recorded in sacred texts is attainable if that being brought about it to take place by way of fact it/him did create the universe out of thoroughly no longer something. After that feat, inflicting a snake to speak could be no subject. i do no longer tell atheists to be greater open-minded, we only conform to disagree and have a look into to coexist. that does no longer imply I compromise on doctrine or do no longer attempt to transform them it only skill i'm no longer a jerk in how I do it.

Sorta' obvious- isn't it?
I've learned a few things in my 43 years on the planet.
Firstly: People believe what they want to believe.
Secondly: Theists are generally otherwise rational people, except where their faith in god comes into play. Weird, huh?

Well I think my mind is open enough that really, even if something might change my mind, it doesnt mean God doesnt exist. If it were proven really that man evolved from apes, then I would believe it but still believe that God has His hand in that too.

If I've seen facts that contradict what I used to believe, then I will change my ideology to fit the facts. But merely someone's opinion, or what they "say" is fact means nothing to me until they show me their evidence and I could weigh it for myself.

Evidence produced by man will never undo God. If anything, I believe science will lead us closer to our Creator. My mind is closed now that I have found The Truth.
May God Bless you.
