Beyond the Song 2006 Testimonies

BEYOND THE SONG 2006: THEY HAD BEEN WITH JESUS

"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, they realized that they had been with Jesus." (Acts 4:13)

This Scripture describes our experience at Beyond the Song. From July 6-9, over 600 gathered in Lima, New York and spent time with Jesus! On Sunday morning, we joined Beyond the Song with Elim Gospel Church, and nearly 1000 enjoyed the ministry. I would remind the reader that when you are with Jesus, supernatural things happen!

Here's only a few of the testimonies:

1. SIGNS AND WONDERS
Several testified of being healed during worship services. While Michael Kim led worship on Friday morning, a woman testified of being healed of a degenerative hip condition. On Friday night, Darrell Evans had a word of knowledge about someone's sinuses being healed, and a man testified the next morning that an infection that had plagued him and hindered his sleep disappeared, and he slept like a baby.

I gave a word of knowledge on Friday afternoon about someone struggling so deeply with depression that they'd asked God to take their life. From behind the piano, I told them, "The Lord says, 'I will never answer that prayer! But I will restore your joy and your life!'" A young woman later testified to me that because of a tragedy in her family, she had been so overcome with grief that that very day, she asked the Lord to take her home. She was
delivered like a bird from it's cage!

As someone who speaks decent Swahili due to my missions experience in Tanzania, twice while Darrell Evans prayed in tongues during the weekend, he spoke in Swahili. The first time (in the pre-program meeting), he was interceding for the sick. The second time (from the stage), he was glorifying Christ. We all marveled at the power of the Holy Spirit!

2. REVELATION
Mike Chorey (director of Joshua Revolution) and I taught a two-part series in the afternoons called The Revelation of the Cross. We taught that the only way to live the victorious Christian life is if the object of your faith is fixed on the finished work of Christ. We taught "The Doctrine of Sin" on Day 1 and "The Doctrine of Grace" on Day 2. A Chinese college
student named Wendy was touched deeply, and told me on Saturday night, staring at me with eyes that were swollen from weeping, "For years I have asked the Lord to send me, but I have not been able to go for Him. Tonight He spoke to me, 'Now you are ready to go because now you know the gospel."

3. LABORERS FOR THE HARVEST
Saturday night, Michael Cavanaugh preached a powerful message on not being ashamed of the gospel, and the altar with filled with believers crying out for the Holy Spirit to fill them with boldness. Over 250 believers committed to going on a short-term missions trip, and many testified of hearing a call to nations. Several specifically testified of a call to China, which was something we'd specifically prayed for often before the event. On Saturday
night, event pastor Mark Scorsone also commissioned the team we're sending to Turkey the week after BTS 2006.

4. RESOURCES FOR THE KINGDOM
World Vision came to our event and presented their orphans for sponsorship. Twelve children received sponsorship during the weekend. My daughters Grace and Joye set up their display for their business Love the Nations Jewelry, where they sell bracelets and necklaces they've made to raise money for Africa and China. They raised over $150 for the nations! Several other children were also inspired to do something similar for the nations.

5. BELIEVERS REFRESHED AND ENCOURAGED
The artists and speakers were fantastic. Darrell Evans poured himself out, and many testified of being transformed during his ministry times. Speakers Paul Johansson, Mike Cavanaugh, Robert Livingston, and Toby Cavanaugh were profoundly used of the Lord. The bands we brought in brought the presence of the Lord with them. There are so many testimonies of how believers were refreshed and encouraged, I do not have the time or space to share it all! (if you would like to order sessions of any of the speakers, please email phil@isaiahsix.com )

Thank you to all who came, prayed, or gave to this event. Only the days ahead, and eternity will show the fruit!

May God impart to you even through reading this testimony page some of the unspeakable joy that is burning now in my heart!

Absolutely. God does exist. There is spiritual warfare taking place. I believe there are two spirit realms that consist of good and evil. Spirit beings from both spirit realms have the ability to effect our world through Channeling/possession of human beings.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Well, to quote the Bible from Exodus...

"And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM"

I'll take His word for it.

But, that is the nature of belief. Now, I did my time as an atheist. So, I understand the sentiment, more than one might expect. I questioned and I asked. For a while, I got the idea that all rational people rejected God. Then, I examined the claims of some of the "rational" people who wanted *everyone* to reject God...and some of their ideas on the nature of things.

For me, they ended up being just about as irrational (or moreso) as some on the "believer" side that I couldn't stand. So, I stopped worrying about the argument and started focusing on the truth of what the Bible held for me, personally, and for what the absence of spirituality had left me with...did some soul searching...and found that without spirituality and a relationship with God, I felt pretty badly and more than a great deal confused on how to confront some of life's harshest realities/biggest questions. For anyone who has ever burried a loved one, especially a child, faith is both hard to come by and vitally important.

So, yes, in my world view, God exists and I'm not crazy. No doubt many people will differ with me on one or both of those points, but, I don't really care. That is between God and me.

Do what you will, but life, for me, is very bleak, brutish and short (to quote one of those cheery philosophers) without God in it.

...Most certainly He exists - look out your window at all creation - it is no cosmic accident, God spoke and the worlds came into being. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and upholds everything by the word of His power.
...BTW, "Happy" says he knows for sure that God does not exist - omniscience is an attribute of deity - is he then claiming to be god? How can he be God if God does not exist?
...Nice try, Happy.

I strongly believe that a superpower exists and everything was created by that. For example, what is the source of gravity?. Why it exists everywhere in the universe and holds things together?. Just try to find out who you are and what is inside you?

it really is an age previous question that lets or might want to not in any respect understand even after demise lets not in any respect understand. in accordance to technology, and Athiests, He does no longer exist. in accordance to religious kinds and human beings with faith, He does exist. in accordance to Agnostics, He might want to or received't exist. yet now again to the starting up, if He does exist, perchance quicker or later he will practice himself or allow Himself frequent to the human beings, or interior the Afterlife, because the Doctrine states, if you're sturdy then you definately will be allowed in Heaven even as God lives. besides the actual shown reality that it is also a threat that there received't be an Afterlife yet He nevertheless does exist for us to not in any respect understand in any respect. Then there is also the conception that He does not in any respect exist nor does Heaven exist, it really is the Athiest conception of what God is. For myself for my area, i do not imagine i count number on Heaven, as a lot as i might want to genuinely pick to, there is basically no longer something in my ideas which will allow me trust that Heaven exists and there are Angels with white gowns and peace for all of something of your submit existence in the international time. besides the actual shown reality that, I do trust there's a God, no longer the God this is in pictures with the white gown, lengthy beard, halo, and each little thing else, yet some variety of larger entity that we do not study about and can want to not in any respect study about, yet i trust there ought to be something accessible this is more effective effectual than something else, some entity that in reality in all different words is...God.

No...I know God exists. Once you experience something, it is no longer belief or thought.

yes god exists........
god is other form of goodness.......... so if you are still able to see some goodness in this world means God is present there............. b'coz without god i think there would no such word like 'good' in the present world........
more over if he doesn't really exist also it is better for us to believe that he exists b'coz in such case i think we will be cautious while doing any sin.................... we will have a fear of getting punished by Almighty.............
& also existance of god developes an internal secure feeling..............it makes us feel that every thing will be 'ok'............
and that makes us do really good things............ and we can also be faithful to ourselves

First off if you didnt believe in God then you might not think so because your a unbeliver! (2 Corinthians 4:4) But if you do believe in God then you will understand that if there was no God then there will be no men. Meaning we would not be alive if God wasnt.

---Also adding to that WHO CREATED YOU? CUZ DIDNT NO MAN MAKE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
