I understand that they have a lot of rules for your time off-campus and they have curfews. If I don't want to be a minister or something then why would I go?

Does it ever seem all most Atheist want to do is annoy religious people and violently attack them? That's how I think Atheism was born, think about it like this: if you KNEW there was nothing beyond death, why would you want to share/ force that on somebody and try to make them second guess themselves? Not all religious people are nuts you know, some are calm and rational , so why attack them with arguments and debates? Maybe they attacked you first, but an eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind and if you say that, then you just proved my argument of Atheism being bred out of hatred towards religion and nothing else. How many Atheists have you seen that go "I really don't care what you think, it's not important and I'm not changing. You believe what you want if it makes you happy." Now to remind you that I asked a question ^_^ . Where do you think Atheism comes from?

To me the prophecy seems so vague that just about any of the fictionalized alien invasions would satisfy it.

So I ask: How would we know it was God and not some race of aliens?

Doesn't the rapture seem like an alien abduction?

Would it be how they select the abductees?

If you look throughout the old testament, god interacts with people quite a lot. In fact, he even walks amongst them (genesis before the fall of man). It was also during the old testament that he was the most angered at us. And I wonder: Why is it that god is never amongst us anymore or talking to us, especially after he supposedly fogave us for our sins? Doesn't sound too logical to me. And please, don't try to say "god is amongst us invisibly with the holy spirit" or "he speaks to us in our prayer" because clearly that is not in the very least similar to how much god interacted in the old testament.

Traditional seeing only the evil physical side of man, and
being fearful of the divine spiritual side?
And New Age seeing only the divine spiritual side, and ignoring the
evil physical side?
Are we not both a physical and spiritual being? And the spirit
wars with the flesh?
