I didn't exactly get knocked off a horse but.......there was a big change. My family noticed it pretty quick.

Dear Lui,

As Primoa1970 said, I didn't fall off a horse ...

I wasn't even going to church in 1982 when I surrendered my life to the LORD. Then I couldn't even find words to describe my "conversion" until I read the Bible from cover-to-cover in 1992.

I am very thankful that the conversion of Saul / Paul is told in the Bible because it helped me to understand what had happened to me. Having been raised by my dad in a liberal church and having a jw mother, I just never heard about being converted!

I didn't know the terminology and when I finally described my conversion to my UCC minister he just looked at me blankly and suggested I talk to a psychic! If I hadn't read the story of Paul's conversion I might have done just that. But I had read it and started church shopping. I now attend a Bible believing church where my spirit is fed!

Thank you very much for asking. How has the account of Paul's conversion impacted your life?

The conversion of St Paul didn't happen in my own life.

What conversion? I live in Minneapolis, MN. and St. Paul is just a half hour drive away. What are they converting to? I hope it's a better public transit system myself. Their current one sucks. As to how do I account for it? I don't. As I said, I live in Minneapolis, let the taxpayers in St. Paul worrry about the cost.

Without it Europe would not have become Christian and neither the Americas.

So probably no one of us would know the faith and Jesus without St Paul.

As one of the most damaging things that could have been done to Jesus's legacy. Paul took the teachings and doings of a gentle, loving, strong man and turned them into a mixture of procedures, hell-fire, and disciplines. It's Paul, rather than Jesus himself, who lies at the heart of the damage done in the name of militant Christianity.

Paul inspires me in the fact that if he can be forgiven for his treacherous life and change his ways...no one is beyond saving.

He fell off his horse and bumped his head. I don't know if we should take seriously anything that happened after that.
