Generally it's irrelevant. Most boys are circumcised do to medical reasons, not religious. Mormons that are circumcised, are for this purpose, there is no doctrine that states it must be done. most doctors today suggest doing it because it helps prevent infections where it could really hurt. Otherwise, men have to take extra care in cleaning that area. I'm afraid if you really want to know if a particular person is circumcised, you'll have to ask him.

Being a mormon has nothing to do with or without being circumcised... It's just a custom, to do so.
If you are good friends with this person then take a chance and ask.
I believe it goes without saying that hospitals use to circumcise without question.........Now I'm not so sure they may ask before hand. Most men are circumcised because of certain types of infections caused by not cleaning ones self thoroughly.

Some day you may hear your 56 year old son ask you "what the hell made you think you had the right to do that to me?" Supprised the hell out of my mom.

why does it matter? but anyways for the most part yes there is no religios thing for the mormons and circumsion. and most boys get it done before they leave the hospital unless the paents say no. so if your friend has a hood then that was the choice of his parents and has nothing to do with being mormon
