I understand that they have a lot of rules for your time off-campus and they have curfews. If I don't want to be a minister or something then why would I go?

All colleges have rules and regulations! They just aren't the same ones in each school. At least in a Christian college they try to teach you a set of values that will stick thruout your lifetime!
You don't have to go just to become a minister.
I spent my entire K-12 in parochial schools, ie; Catholic and Lutheran....I learned a great deal about the history of Christianity, and when I turned 30 something, It dawned on me just what I did learn. It was a whole lot more than the 3 R's.

Good Luck in your endeavor to satisfy your knowledge!

Don't. The professors that they hire usually don't believe the Bible and will even say it's not even an accurate history book. If you are going to be lied to, might as well go to a cheaper secular school so you will be ready for the lies. And, believe me, there are plenty of parties on "christian" college campuses. I know a great deal of people who go to a christian college, not because of their beliefs, but because mom & dad will pay if that's where they go.

If you would like an environment absent of parties and other related distractions then that is a good place to concentrate on you studies.

Christian colleges usually do not take Federal money, along with the attendant rules and politically correct nonsense that is strung along with those dirty dollars.
therefore, Christian colleges actually teach you useful things and are not full of stupid programs like "minority studies", "womens studies" , "gay studies", "muslim studies" , "studies on socialism", and countless other curriculae that only serve to brainwash our younger generation.

You should go to an accredited university instead. christian colleges do not have effective science courses and leave out much of what you need to learn. they are biased and slanted to their particular point of view.

So that you are not being constantly propagandized by the secular Faculty. They are just as eager to convert you to their Atheistic culture and any street preacher is to bring you to Christ.

It isn't, and frankly any school that's based in religion isn't worth attending. Go to a good, accredited university instead.
