Most of us would know that it was just an alien invasion, but the Christians would perceive it as a magical and holy event. They are the descendants of those first genetically modified by the extraterrestrial Jesus Christ to be his slaves, and see all science and technology as magic.
When the alien Jesus returns in his mothership (named in Revelations as "The Word of God"), he will track these people down and transport them aboard his mothership to be turned into cybernetic super-soldiers (merged with the technological "Armor of God") and returned to the surface of the planet to destroy everything on it. They will do this gleefully, as their programming causes them to believe they are doing the right thing, no matter how horrible their actions.

Remember the old twilight zone episode called "To Serve Man"? That was the title on a book the aliens gave the humans. It turned out to be a cookbook!
Those people thought they were going to colonize a new planet not become food for the aliens.

I think the Scientologists are on to something!
I think we wouldn't be able to tell the difference because all scenarios are crazy-especially the rapture.
Tom Cruise would be king of the abductees

Alien abductions and invasions are just modern mythology corresponding to the mythology of ancient Jewish and Christian apocalyptic. Bad aliens = demons, good aliens = angels.

By "the prophecy" do you mean Revelation 19:11-16? I see no vague language there -- it states in plain language that Christ will return.
Or perhaps you're referring to Isaiah 63? Where exactly do you see vague wording? To me, it's incredibly direct!
Maybe you're referring to Zechariah 14, but again, I see nothing that's vague.
So to which prophecy are you referring? I'm quite curious.

I think they would declare the rapture if an airplane full of them went missing.

That's a bit far-fetched, don't you think?
God made us promises....and has kept them without fail.
He will redeem us someday.....I don't know how or when......but I believe Him.
