No, very thankfully I'm not a Xian. I have the ability to think for myself. It's wonderful. You should try it sometime.
You know what hurts my feelings? The idea of someone going to another lesser developed country to shame the impoverished natives into believing in hell. That actually sickens me. They were doing fine...but then , say, catholic missionaries tell them they shouldn't be using condoms because it's a sin...and then thousands of them die of AIDS. Can you not leave well enough alone? If people want to know about Jesus, they will seek the info out. It's not as though it's difficult to do.

Well, if you can stretch your imagination this way, imagine someone came to you and said, "I'd like to tell you how I found Zeus." Imagine how the person would behave that would be most tempting for you to consider. Now reverse that so you can prepare your discussion. You might also listen and see whether they have concerns that might tie into what Christianity has to offer.

Am I a christian? I am not a religious person, more of a spiritual person and my idea of a christian is someone who does good deeds for others self-lessly.
In my opinion, the best way to tell other's about Jesus is to speak straight from your heart....

I am a Christian. Sometime we need to be bold, and other times our actions do the speaking. Sometimes the Lord gives us a conversation starter. Pray for divine appointments and to lead as the Lord wishes. Remember some plant, others water, and still others harvest.

Just tell them that Jesus was the long awaited Jewish Messiah prophecied through the scriptures. He came into the world to set up a new and better covenant than the Jews had, a covenant of grace and forgiveness based on faith, as opposed to the old one which was following the law. He came to earth as a man, suffered and died to pay for OUR sins though he committed none of his own, rose from the dead and calls all mankind into that new covenant based on faith in Him. He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by Me." All men must come to Him repenting of their sins and accept Him into their hearts as their Lord and Savior. And when you have done that, all of your past sins are blotted out, like they never happened. Now you began a life time walk with Him. "He said, "Abide in Me and I in you for apart from Me you can do nothing." We do that through daily pray and reading the bible. If we hold fast to Him until the end we are promised that He will be with us in this world and that we will have eternal life in the world to come. That is it in a nutshell. Hope it helps. Just pray and trust the Holy Spirit within you to speak through you. God bless you in your work.
Sorry. I thought you were asking how to tell them the gospel.

Missionaries have missed the point... The spiritual experience is a personal one. I say, wander the wilderness and enjoy what is here for us all... quite imposing your ideas (which are just passed down ideas of other generations) on others. Live and let live.

Yup, I'm a christian......The best thing I can tell you is to let people know what you're there for but let them come to you at their own pace. They will come and then you can go from there.....From what I know, the biggest thing that turns people off about "religions" in general is the pushyness many people claiming to be religious display.

You have to live the Christian life out in front of them, and when it is necessary use words. You will know the time is right to use words because there will be no doubt in what your going to say.......love people, pray for them.

First, the word is spelled "harassing".
Telling people about Jesus is only the first step, the more important and longer-lasting impact will occur when you show people how your faith in Jesus has affected your life.
