Traditional seeing only the evil physical side of man, and
being fearful of the divine spiritual side?
And New Age seeing only the divine spiritual side, and ignoring the
evil physical side?
Are we not both a physical and spiritual being? And the spirit
wars with the flesh?

THis is the best question ever asked in here! The traditional side bothers me the most because why would people only want to see the evil side of man, when we are mostly good not evil.

One should pay attention to both... though I don't agree that our physical side is evil, we just do bad things at times. But you can't see the whole person by only looking at one or the other.

'Traditional seeing only the evil physical side of man'.......is heresy, there have been groups in the past who thought everything physical was evil.......the church disagreed......i can't think of the name of this heresy but it has a name.

Right. I like to think in more of the mind/body sense. Sort of a Science of the Mind. What the mind/body can do when they work together...amazing.
