Matthew 11:28-30
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
The stronger we grow, and the more we become in tune with God and His will, the easier this life is. Is the attack stronger from Satan? Yes, but when we fix our eyes on Jesus, we don't focus on the earthly.

It's definitely easier socially, although the (supposed) Christian lifestyle of self-denial as virtue is hardly what I'd describe as either easy OR virtuous. In practice, it usually amounts to baldfaced hypocrisy.
It requires true moral courage, in a society so superficially "religious" as ours, for a person to publicly "admit" that he's an atheist. It requires nothing short of mental indolence and a desire to fit in to claim Christianity. You're encouraged and rewarded for your "faith," while atheists are suspected and despised for theirs. In short, "I solemnly assure you, you are already repaid."

Being a Christian is easy. You have people to tell you what to think. You hardly have to think for yourself at all.

really easy. thing is, they can cry all about oppression 2000 years ago based on a book, but they are the world's majority religion today. u pray to a god, get guaranteed to heaven, and anything is forgiven with a church visit. how much easier can it be to be a theist.

easy because you never have to learn any science...God did everything...you could spend your whole life looking down your nose at others while you secretly have gay sex, take meth and steal money from you parishoners...oh and then be absolved for everything you have done because you "accepted" Jesus into your life...you can live your whole life comfortable in the assumption that the world was made for you and anyone with any other beliefs...especially REAL beliefs that can be proven,,,are simply wrong because they disagree with you...even though you yourself have no proof that what you believe in is true either...except "I said so."....

It's hard, or course. Anything worth doing is hard. Everything rewarding you have to work for. We travel a hard road but we travel it with a great Lord. I wouldn't have my life any other way.
