There is actually a place on Grand Cayman Island called hell. It even has a post office. You can buy a post card there that says "We're in hell. Wish you were here." Post mark actually says Hell, Grand Cayman.

The reason it was named hell is because of a large area of natural geological volcanic rock that looks like what you might think hell would look like.
