The things you reference truly are out of our control but many of the decisions we make have just as much impact on our destiny. The decision whether or not to get an education, take a new job, end a relationship or many number of others place us directly in path of destiny. Poor decisions will bear fruit. And of course you can do everything right and random chance will still run you over sometimes.
If you find yourself someplace you do not want to be and it is due to events completely beyond your control then I feel sympathy for those people. However, it has been my experience that people are where they are due bad decisions they made in the past. I know that it is true in my case. Most of the negative things in my life are almost always the result of a poor decision I made in my youth.

A body is a complex machine of tissues, organs, cells. Most of these things operate on an unconcious level. This isn't proof that God has made the body and told it what to do, just that over the years, they have become automatic responses to different stimuli. Evolution. In my opinion a man is indeed in complete control of his destiney. The ability to make predictions has nothing to do with this, as guessing is not the same as shaping your future or controlling your actions, or working toward a goal.

Man controls his own future by deciding what to do in the course of their life. Are you saying man has no responsibility or freedom in the choice of jobs, mate, etc? Do you believe choices are made by a higher being complementing the future of each individual? Come on, you have the choice of whether to stay home or not, not fate.

Sure. Man is in charge of his own destiny....within the limits of his environment of course. In other words, we can not do anything we want, such as fall off a cliff and expect to live, etc. We can not also control our environment completely and are at the mercy of the environment, which controls us to some extent. As for personal choices, they belong to us to make. We decide on those.

Yes! Life is what u make of it. I believe 50% is sheer luck-something inherent in u; smth u bring with u. But the other half is totally upto u- what u make of it through hardwork, determination, good character, discipline and faith. You can either capitalize on this other half, be successful and even change the miseries brought upon u by luck, or u can sit around waiting ur luck to change things for u. It's a matter of choice.

I do control my own destiny by my actions. You control your own fate as well, you just don't realize it. Life is what you make it. You can choose to have a miserable life by your actions or you can choose to have a happy life by the deeds that you do.
No one ever claimed to control everyone else's or the destiny of the planet.

Man gives himself bad karma, or good, Man is therefore the master of his own destiny, same with women, us women are in control of our own.

I am a firm believer that "man" is also his own demise...Look around and see what we're all heading....Sometimes you MUST leave things alone to preserve what we haveand pass onto the next generations...Too much technical BS is killing us all off...
