First I don't have a religion, I'm not athiest or christian or anything else. I'm still soul searching to find my place in regards to spirituality. BUT, do you think athiest are better people? I ask because if you are a person without fear of God's wrath or judgement and still choose to be a good person who loves their family, love their life, and respects other then doesn't it make sense that they are better as far as mankind goes with controlling the bad within themseleves and exudeing the good.

PLEASE remember, in answering this question, that the original New Testament is in GREEK, NOT ENGLISH. And Jesus spoke either Aramaic or Hebrew, not English. Therefore, do not tell me that it's ok to call him "Dad" but not "Father." Because "ABBA" can be translated as either Dad OR Father.

Why not call any man Father? Can you call any woman "Mother"?

For example, I believe Paris France exists even thou I haven't sensed it with my own five senses, but I could disprove that it is real by going there and seeing if it really is where it says it is on the map.

I don't think a "brain" counts because we can do brain surgery and see our brain. For some reason theists yesterday told me that they wouldn't see their brain of liver so it proved God existed. But we can prove a brain or a liver is in fact there.

Some argue the atom. Here again I'm not sure that this is true. I think the existence of the atom has been proven through expirimentation.

I never saw Evolution, but I believe that I Evolved. While I have seen fossils and sense with my sight the fossils, these in and of themselves are not proof of Evolution, or are they witness to Evolution, but merely witness to a species that DID exist.

However, I do believe Evolution happened.

Your thoughts please.

Abiogenesis, the theory in which life came from non-life during a premordial period in Earth's history some 3.8 billion years ago, has no basis for truth, but rather, pseudo-science at its best. Through the use of empirical and substantial evidence, please explain how abiogenesis can be possible (i.e., explain how the codes adenine, guanine, cytocine and thymine form together in a systematic superintelligent manner within DNA which has the information from the codes to create the hundreds of thousands of proteins and other functions that make something alive by naturalistic means, based on its unknowing disadvantage of blind chance and bizarre unknowledge of random happenings).

An Abstract simplification of what i'm looking for:

Explain how something that isn't alive can not only start to exist, but continue to exist having posessed the needed information within its genetic structure to help it replicate, whether off itself or through sexual reproduction.

Matthew 10:17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. ( Christians brace yourselves. Christ is rapidly approaching. The devil is aware of this. In these last days we will experience "apostle -like" persecution. No, this intense persecution didn't pass us. It just slept but now its time for all things to be fufilled The anti-jew and anti-christian movement is growing rapidly. People are getting "fed-up" with the Christian faith and voicing their opinion all over the world". Israel is literally "sleeping with enemy" . Israel is surrounded by enemies encamped on her borders. Yes, now is the time gird ourselves and watch scripture fufill. Amen in Christ Name.)

Seriously. Whenever I've read a response to a stupid question that made me laugh out loud, or a retort to someone else's answer, or even a question, the poster's alwalys been an atheist/agnostic.
And it's not that I'm biased, Christians just don't seem to put the effort into being funny. I mean it'd be in their best intrest right? What's the saying 'Once you've got them laughing you're halfway there'? Of course I think that statement was meant to apply to seducing women, but the principle's the same.

For all of you people who don't like reading:

Why aren't Christians (intentionally) funny?

We are not terrorists. We don't want it for us or for anyone. Those people killing others and calling themselves Muslims are not considered Muslims. But it seems that no matter how much we inform others about Islam's truth, no one wants to listen. Do not generalize between Muslims. A true Muslim does not harm others. Those that hurt others intentionally do not have the qualities of one. We only want peace amongst each other and other religions. The very word, Islam (الإسلام) means peace. Don't be ignorant and look deeper into Islam and you'll discover what it really is.

Is evangelism in any form actually supported by any Bible reference OTHER than the usual "Go, and preach My word to all nations" quote?
Similarly, how do I get involved or go about doing so? I am at university, and don't belong to any specific Church.
Is it right to try and convert people in this way, if you should not fore your beliefs on others or convert them by force?
