Referring to one of the questions, I was wide awake, it was about 6.30-ish in the evening, I didn't think anything of it all, just felt normal, no strange coldness or anything like that, Just thought, Uh?, I actually walked in the next room to see if anyone had walked in but they hadn't

I should think so. I've been dead for more years than I care to remember.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a ghostly belief or a claim of a ghost sighting.
Ghosts usually occur where an unhappy event has happened, a battle, suicide or murder, or where the person is scared to die or has a message that must be heard. Socrates argued that this fear was a form of pollution which left a mark upon the earth to remind people. Most ghosts are friendly, only wanting a friend or someone to listen to them.
The best thing is to return to the place where you had the sighting and pray and ask the siprit to come forward and tell it that you are not harming them and they are not to harm you. Then tell them to deliver the message and then leave the place for the afterlife that they belong to.
If the spirit is an evil one, an exorcism may be needed. But this is unlikely unless harmful events happen, such as objects being thrown, things going missing... etc.
But you are not losing the plot- ghosts appear in many religious texts including the Bible.

First, try to think how a shadow could possibly be cast there by normal means. Maybe try some experiments?

I have had a couple of interesting experiences, which, if you are interested, I will describe if you would like to contact me. I tried my own advice then, and didn't come up with anything, which of course doesn't prove anything at all, except to me.

Believe in ghosts? Maybe....

I do. My husband passed away 26 years ago. He was in my car one night when I had my 10 month old granddaughter in the back seat. She was crying and I didn't know why. When she all of a sudden stopped, I looked in the rearview mirror and I saw her looking to her right. She started to baby talk and giggle. Somehow I knew Brian was there comforting our Savannah. She was fine the rest of the way home....
I've had other experiences as well, so YES...I believe...

Feeling like you're losing it is common when you experience anything like this. I've been seeing ghosts since I was a child and I still have the "Did I really just see that or was my mind playing a trick on me?" So, yes, I believe in ghosts and no, you're not crazy.

No, you're not losing your marbles. Everything on this earth has energy and your home will have residual energy from previous occupiers. This emination could be either a previous occupant or someone you know. Visit your local spiritualist church for evidence of the afterlife.

seen ghosts a few times. And I wasnt alone when I saw them, so I know it wasnt my imagination. Looked more like a hologram than a shadow just like the ghosts in the movie "the Frightners".

There are a great many things we can't explain that most people chose to ignore. I personally believe but the catalogue of incidents involving myself and various trusted members of my family and friends are so many that leave me little argument.

I mean, when a fridge door is constantly slamming against your arm when you're trying to get stuff out of the fridge then you yell at your late brother in law and tell him to stop it and it does...what are you meant to think?

i have never seen one while awake, but i dream they sit on me and strangle me while i am asleep. Scares the $hit out of me. It seems so real and when i wake up my neck is really sore where i have been straining it myself. Was you wide awake when you seen this or was you nearly dozing off? its usually a shadow what does that to me.
