10. O ye who believe! Shall I show you a commerce that will save you

from a painful doom?
11. Ye should believe in Allah and His messenger, and should strive

for the cause of Allah with your wealth and your
lives. That is better for you, if ye did but know.
12. He will forgive you your sins and bring you into Gardens

underneath which rivers flow, and pleasant dwellings in
Gardens of Eden. That is the supreme triumph.
13. And (He will give you) another blessing which ye love: help from

Allah and present victory. Give good tidings (O
Muhammad) to believers.

39. And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all

for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer
of what they do.

63. When Jesus came with clear proofs (of Allah's sovereignty), he

said: I have come unto you with wisdom, and to
make plain some of that concerning which ye differ. So keep your duty

to Allah, and obey me.
64. Lo! Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. This is a

right path.
65. But the factions among them differed. Then woe unto those who do

wrong from the doom of a painful day.
66. Await they aught save the Hour, that it shall come upon them

suddenly, when they know not?
67. Friends on that day will be foes one to another, save those who

kept their duty (to Allah).
68. O My slaves! For you there is no fear this day, nor is it ye who

grieve;
69. (Ye) who believed Our revelations and were self surrendered,
70. Enter the Garden, ye and your wives, to be made glad.
71. Therein are brought round for them trays of gold and goblets, and

therein is all that souls desire and eyes find
sweet. And ye are immortal therein.
72. This is the Garden which ye are made to inherit because of what

ye used to do.
73. Therein for you is fruit in plenty whence to eat.
74. Lo! the guilty are immortal in hell's torment.
75. It is not relaxed for them, and they despair therein.
76. We wronged them not, but they it was who did the wrong.
77. And they cry: O master! Let thy Lord make an end of us. He saith:

Lo! here ye must remain.
78. We verily brought the Truth unto you, but ye were, most of you,

averse to the Truth.
79. Or do they determine any thing (against the Prophet)? Lo! We

(also) are determining.
80. Or deem they that We cannot hear their secret thoughts and

private confidences? Nay, but Our envoys, present with
them, do record.
81. Say (O Muhammad): The Beneficent One hath no son. I am first

among the worshippers.
82. Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of

the Throne, from that which they ascribe (unto
Him)!
83. So let them flounder (in their talk) and play until they meet the

Day which they are promised.
84. And He it is Who in the heaven is God, and in the earth God. He

is the Wise, the knower.
85. And blessed be He unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the

heavens and the earth and all that is between them,
and with Whom is knowledge of the Hour, and unto Whom ye will be

returned.
86. And those unto whom they cry instead of Him possess no power of

intercession, saving him who beareth witness
unto the Truth knowingly.
87. And if thou ask them who created them, they will surely say:

Allah. How then are they turned away?

61. And lo! verily there is knowledge of the Hour. So doubt ye not

concerning it, but follow Me. This is the right path.
62. And let not Satan turn you aside. Lo! he is an open enemy for

you.

Jesus doesnt give up on anyone-he didnt on me as a Jew who rejected him too-now he is my savior and best friend.

The added measures of security put in place to combat terrorism have caused the costs of living to skyrocket. Terrorism is in deed one great big ball of confusion. Strange that we don't see Muslims protesting and demonstrating over radical factions of Muslims publicly beheading innocent people, or strapping bombs to themselves and murdering innocent women and children in the name of God.

So, why should the Pope apologize to Muslim leaders for his comments about Muslim violence in the name of religion? On one hand the Pope spoke the truth and would have been fully justified if he'd typecast Muslims as failed men. Because real men don't murder innocent women and children. Real men don't conduct themselves like hordes of savage animals that thirst for any excuse to violently protest against civilization.

Do we here in the West not live with the freedom to air our opinions without having to put up with the wrath of others who obviously are so weak willed as to not be able to take it?

Its ok for them to protest outside Westminster Abbey but should us "infidels" go to a mosque (yeah like we'd want to.....not!) we would be beheaded at dawn!!!

Good on the pope for saying what we all think but are to supressed to bloody say....

And these same Media people,news reporters did not used or mentioned these pre-text religions in making news reporting like Catholic criminals, Budhists criminals, Jewish criminals or Protestant criminals when making the whole story so that no biases for all religions?

Since 2003, I have prayed everyday for another job. Went to several interviews but still haven't succeeded. My current job is so unsatisfying & not challenging enough. I don't know what I have done for God to desert me. They say when you pray sincerely with enough faith, all things are possible but that didn work for me. I was so devastated to learn that yet again, I recieved letter of regret from job interview.

I did nothing but sleep all weekend. Today I just feel numb & exhausted- I can't take out leave cos I dont have alot of vacation days left & too broke to go out & spoil myself. My friends & family don't understand what Im going through- they go like " oh well, u'll soon get over it"/ that's life, u'll get one soon. I know its not right but I haven't prayed since sat, I didn see the point & I cauldn't care less if I woke alive/ gone. Im so down, its really depressing to go through this ever so often.

Cheer me up pls?

i find it really hard to get my head around this evolution thingy.. its strange that i have hair and not fur..i have a mind that can think about what im thinking about..i have feelings and emotionals..fingerprints like no one elses and dna so complex it could reach far beond the sun if it was untangled..yet this all came from nothing, so i hear..is evolution real?if so id like some real facts to prove it?because i'm really struggling to understand it..Or is it just something a bunch of geeks made up??

Dont get me wrong, i am as religious as ar ur average 20something yr old!
but do u think the Bible has through all this time stayed as it was originally! People who publish the book many years ago could have changed its scriptures without our knowledge??
