1 Kings 18:38
38Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that [was] in the trench.

Note that fire does not consume stones, otherwise ovens and kilns could not work.

Hi, my faith has been shaken to the core because here was I thinking that the Pope was infallible. Of course he should never have insulted that religion of peace ( Islam) but what was God's purpose in making him say this, then apologise for it?

Could it be that the pope is JUST A MAN after all, although dressed up in gold and velvet robes??

In Sunday school, many children learn that Satan lives within and uses fire, yet here we have fire coming out of God to devour two young men to death.

Leviticus 10:1-2
1And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
2And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. (KJV)

Buddhism does not judge people but rather tries to show them compassions. Christians think that humanity is evil and everyone deserves hell. Christianity doesn't seem to make sense because we are condemmed to sin because of the actions of Adam and Eve. The Buddha on the other hand stated that he only teaches one thing: Suffering and the end to suffering. People in Christianity desire to get into heaven. And desire itself causes suffering according to Buddhism. Christianity uses fear tactics to control followers by saying they are going to hell if they don't believe exactly what they think. Buddhism teaches that we should be open to different points of view and question everything to see if it makes sense. Plus my goal is not to go to heaven. I have always wanted to stop existing. Why the hell would a God forcibly create me anyways. Buddhism offers the answer by stating that the end goal of a Buddhist is to stop existing and never live again in heaven hell or on earth.

just like the nazis, jesus would leave us to be tortured by satan if we were different from him. Hitler himself did not commit hideous acts, and jesus won't either. Because jesus is pure evil and lets the satan toture people he doesn't have full control over. so in plain and simple english, Is jesus a tyrant actually?
