That was quite scary, how can educated intelligent people believe stuff like that.

I thought it was a very good documentary and 'revealing' in that it gave a very convincing alternative meaning of Revelations to that given by the endtimers ... including the 7 emperors of Rome and the empire itself (the beast), the 'mark' of the emperors' heads on the currency (the mark of the beast) and 666 as a known Hebraic code which translates into 'Nero'.

There are apparently grave doubts the writer of Revelations was Saint John and the visions described were probably the result of the writer hallucinating under the influence of magic mushrooms. As for the 'Rapture', apparently this was a misunderstanding about the meaning of one of Saint Paul's letters and is never mentioned in Revelations.

How can educated people believe that the Big Bang came out from nothing? That there was no first cause?

Both ways, it takes faith. For Christians, it's faith in the book of Revelation as an apocalyptic book of prophecy. After all, they believe Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, walked on water, and forgives their sin (past, present and future). Why couldn't they believe in the Rapture of the Church?

FYI, Christianity is a very rational religion. I challenge you to study some theology and discover for yourself. ;-) It's amazing, really, it is.

Because if you'd actually pick up the Bible, open to the Book of Revelations and read how the "Mark of the Beast" works,,,,then compaire that to what the RIFD's their putting into people, and keep an open mind-

If your minds open, and you really study it, you should be pissing your pants worried. Especially if you cross reference what the Christians say, and what the Myan Calendar says- the Myan Calender says we "Run out of suns" on December 21st, 2012.

So, one belief system is from God, the other is from satan (Since they did human sacrifice, its hard to call them Christian ok? Cut'em some slack) and they both agree the end time is "near",,,,,,

It's the same way that people believe that man is causing global warming and there is something we can actually do about it.
