bing bang .. who made it explode .. for what reason .. is there any intention beyond it or not ..

you see .. the problem is :
1-either .. something always exists .. god or universe ..
2-or .. universe started by bing bang .. who started it .. for what reason it started ..

Over the past year I've changed beliefs from a very open minded spiritualist against organized religion..To a very happy member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. For me, I'm amazed by how different the epxeriences are between the two. So, my question is..Have you ever changed your faith/church? Why did you do so? And what is it that convinced you of the new one/why the old one was wrong?

Blessings. ^_^

Who thinks that because of what the pope said, someone will try to kill him?
And if he is killed, how do you think the western world will react?

I counted the number of people that were killed by the God in the Bible. I came up with 2,038,334, which, of course, greatly underestimates God's total death toll, since it only includes those killings for which specific numbers are given. No attempt was made to include the victims of Noah's flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, or the many plagues, famines, fiery serpents, etc., with which the good book is filled. Still, 2 million is a respectable number even for world class killers.

But how does this compare with Satan? How many did he kill in the Bible?

Well I can only find ten, and even these he shares with God, since God allowed him to do it as a part of a bet. I'm talking about the seven sons and three daughters of Job.

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job ... And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
...
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, on

I like this song, but I'm not totally clear on its meaning -- I understand the Biblical references but I'm more unclear on the "these are the days of" part.

These are the days of Elijah
Declairing the Word of the Lord
And these are the days of Your
Servant Moses
Righteousness being restored
And though these are days of
Great trials
Of famine and darkness and sword
Still we are the voice in the desert crying
Prepare ye the way of the Lord

Behold He comes riding on the clouds
Shining like the sun at the trumpet call
Lift your voice it's the Year of Jubilee
Out of Zion's hill salvation comes

These are the days of Ezekiel
The dry bones becoming as flesh
And these are the days of
Your servant David
Rebuilding a temple of praise
And these are the days of the harvest
The fields are as white in Your world
And we are the laborers in Your vineyard
Declaring the Word of the the Lord

There's no god like Jehova

Lift your voice it's the year of Jubilee
Out of Zion

I was when I was 13... In a time when adults should be trying to guild me, instead they turned their backs on me. Any who - as an adult I am unable to even sit inside a church without wanting to run away. You would not believe the feelings I get when I have tried to go back to church.
Strong faith in God - no faith in people in churches.
My pastor came to me and said the congragation had a meeting and had voted me out of the church. My pastor said he did not want me to leave. But even being a teen I did not want to stay where I was not welcome.
Six months later that church closed it's doors, and the pastor moved to Texas.
When I told a friend all of this his reply was... When they ask you to leave, they ask God to leave also...
Do you believe that?

I just don't get it. In the Bible, it says that you don't send sheep out among the wolves. Why is the church doing this?? It isn't Biblical!

With very little worshipping of god... and a "we are under grace so can do anything we want as long as we believe" attitude.

Seriously tho, how do christians worship God? and believing something doesn't = worship.

So, Left-wingers (Dems, et al) are apologists for 'Islamofascists' (despite terrorists, by definition of the Bush admin, not being able to be legitimately labled as fascists - but that's another question), and as such supporters of Islam. Yet, at the same time, Lefties are filled with ranks of Jews and Jew-lovers (isn't the 'liberal' media controlled by Jews?). So we simultaneously support two religious groups that are completely at odds with each other? And, if the religious fundies are to be believed, Lefties are godless atheists who are going to burn in hell anyway.

How the hell do Lefties pull off this amazing trick of concurrent religious support and atheism? I'd love to hear a rational answer.

There are no religions that teach its followers/worhippers violence. Not Islam, not Christianity, not Buddhism and etc. Then why create violence just because you disagree with the other religion? Why cant we just live in peace and respect one another regardless of our belief?

Can we atleast stop hating each other in Answers?
~sigh~
